Free Roam (Characters)

I've seen topics about people worrying about a ton of things, but my question is, what the hell happens (if it's possible) if you run into another character whilst you're in free roam, will the game lag? Will any criminal activity they do be detected as yours also? Will they tag you or try get away with you? Can you kill them? Can you get in a shootout with them? Can you fight with him?)

Uhhh.. Um, not that I confirm the Lag, I doubt it very much and with the Criminal Activity maybe if your in a Party? I see it working just as it did in GTA IV.

I mean something like Michael running into Franklin or Trevor, sorry I should've made more sense and not said Free Roam.

Haha, yes I think it was said some where you can. Wouldn't lag I'd think.. But the rest of those questions are quite, unknown.. Interesting question.
