I have never been to a midnight release, but for gta 5, I'm definitely going to GameStop for one. And has anyone preordered yet? If u did, what system? I'm preordering next week for Xbox 360. d3ex2 Posted May 4, 2013 Share Posted May 4, 2013 I preordered on Amazon so my copy will arrive at 10:30/11:30AM on the 17th. I also put down a £5 deposit at my local Tesco store. I only did it for the poster Not sure what I'm gonna do. Store or online. Not sure if Tesco do midnight releases, any Brits here able to clear it up for me? Might go down at midnight to check and if not then just go back later. Really not sure what to do. What makes it more difficult is people keep saying to preorder from GAME because they usually deliver the game early but they only have standard free delivery, I don't want to risk it arriving a couple days after release. I had only heard of GAME delivering early but they only have free delivery. I don't want to risk it being delivered late. I might try out ShopTo. Do they always deliver early? I don't think they do any formal midnight opening like Game or HMV, but many Tescos are open 24 hours so I don't see why they wouldn't sell the game at midnight. OP: I will be pre ordering from Game UK and I may go to the midnight opening with some mates for a laugh. As the Game store I'm going to is literally opposite from Rockstar North studios (!) it'll be really cool collecting a game made a few 100ft away. smokeysmokeonsmoke Posted May 6, 2013 Share Posted May 6, 2013 I can't decide I pre ordered online from GAME before and the parcel had the wrong adress on it/postman couldn't find my house, it wasn't Games fault but i ended up going to the shop and buying another copy of it and selling my friend the other this wasn't a game as popular as gta so it worked out but I don't want it to happen again. Because of this I also couldn't find out if you get the game a day early pre-ordering with them only way I will order online is if the site definitely gives you it a day early anyone got any ideas? And they usually get leaked about 1 week before the official release date... ya but what i mean that people on the PC could just find the file and download it , but on the consoles version you'll have to pay for CDs so that makes people want to buy the original game and not bother buying CDs then download the content then extract then burn it then make some codes to make it available for the console , that's a lot of work , but what a mean that after all your stealing companies by not buying there products instead making copies of the products to get illegal products Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
