Victor_Knight
Use these settings Compression DXT1Compression (Alpha) DXT5 Of course i've tried, but ... and furthermore: output filesize is 85.5 kB against 32.1 kB (manually created using TXD workshop). With more textures and notably with larger resolutions like 2048 or 4096 the difference amounts to dozens of megabytes. YOEL_44
When I want to delete completelly an alpha from a texture I use MS Paint: Open texture, save as, select the needed format, as MS Paint doesn't suport alpha it will automatically convert it into a completelly opaque texture Edited March 30, 2015 by YOEL_44

Bratha
Hi, I downloaded the program, but when I launch it, I get a following error message: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Does anyone have any idea if it is .NET framework or some missing C++ redist package related error? If yes, what version do I need to install? I'm using Window 8.1 btw. The_GTA
Reading through this thread feels like nostalgia. At least it is if you have spent more than a year working on TXD format analysis. And then having solved the all-in-one Tool issue completely. Without DK's help there would be no Magic.TXD. Flame, Concavax and Frank.s
theobjt
I was messing around trying to convert vice city pc txd files to mobile. Under edit then setup txd version if I had it set to gta3, there was an option to select mobile as the platform. Neither vice city or san andreas set has the mobile platform option. Any reason for this? I chose custom and selected custom set and s3tc mobile for the data type and it did convert a bunch of txd files. Should this work? About 60 to 70 percent of pc textures work when converted for san andreas by the way. Great tool! Any plans on incorporating more options for mobile specific conversion? Any reason for this? I chose custom and selected custom set and s3tc mobile for the data type and it did convert a bunch of txd files. Should this work?I based the conversion to mobile on GTA3 Android and iOS because it comes with TXD files. I think Vice City and San Andreas mobile come with "texture caches", which is a specialty of TXD F*cker. It is hard for me to test mobile because I am not rich enough to buy many phones of different architecture. Very sure modding GTA3 mobile works flawlessly. I'd greatly appreciate if somebody made a tutorial about it with Magic.TXD! About 60 to 70 percent of pc textures work when converted for san andreas by the way. Great tool! Any plans on incorporating more options for mobile specific conversion? We will add more mobile features if people support us and we have the necessary hardware. I am happy that it works for you! theobjt
With San Andreas android, I resize the texture by half in magic.txd and then extract the textures. I then import the textures (checking which ones are alpha and no alpha) with txd f*er. I don't know if you ever do any mobile modding but usually you would place the textures in the San Andreas texdb/gta3 folder but I have found that you could import them into texdb/txd folder if you wanted to. I'll let you know if the converted Vice City PC textures work with the magic.txd editing option. Also i haven't played gta3 mobile for a while, but when I do I'll try to convert using the option. If it works as you say that would be extremely easy. The_GTA
