Im on PS3 and i will keep stay there. i dont care if it comes for PC.. but when it comes for PC they will start to make Mods then brings it over to the consoles, witch ruins the whole online experience. just like IV thise days, its kind of fine after a few years but NOT in the beginning..

Funny how I rarely see modders in GTA IV PC multiplayer these days.

I sow it only 2 times, in fact.

Concerning PS3, I played GTA IV MP on PS3 a few times and I never sow a single modder; it was clean.

 

 

Also, there are hacks, trainers and much more stuff other than mods, even without the PC version, PS3 version is still going to have a lot of mods...

 

 

 

 

Which I will never see while playing the multiplayer on PS3...

Now all of a sudden, PC gamers here act innocent. Most of them don't deserve it, i just feel sorry for the minority of the good people. Besides, it's not the platform where they make the most money at, it's the consoles. Too many PC elitists think they are superior, just because they have the "Graphics". I'll tell ya something, it's all about the Gameplay. GTA V will have good graphics on all platforms anyway.

I'm of the opinion that we should just enjoy gaming on whatever platform we choose. I just can't stand all this PS3 vs 360 (both are pretty much the same) and the whole PC elitist supreme master race.

 

I just want to those elitists kick and scream for a PC version. If they were the "master race" they wouldn't need to. PC doesn't make up any more than 1/5 of sales for Rockstar/Take Two. Rockstar will not release it for PC if the time/effort needed isn't worth the money they'll get back. I know it most likely will come out for PC but in the mean time I'll enjoy watching those PC gamers complain.

I'm personally waiting to the PC version, since I don't own console nor I don't want to buy want. I enjoy modding GTA, both making and using them and GTA V has a lot of modding possibilities if it comes to PC

The whole PC master race thing is quite the interesting subject. From what I've seen over the years it seems to be a reaction to being the #3 or #4 when it came to gaming. All big games were ports and badly done ports. PCs became more cheaper over time, making it a much more attractive platform for both gamers and developers. Digital distribution like Steam suddenly negated most of the 'losses' caused by piracy and the smaller base. Ports became better, even superior to console versions and suddenly PC gamers were on top. Where before console gamers were the undisputed kings and queens of gaming, now PCs were on an equal or better footing. Like the console elitists that existed before, a small minority of PC gamers took to the offensive against consoles and kept the myth of the PC Master Race alive. Which causes threads like this.

 

In the end, it's all about enjoying this game. If the platform can handle it and be profitable (which the PC definitely would be), why not be happy that people get the right to play it on the platform they want? Don't be an elitist, be a player.

Digital distribution sales aren't given out by Steam, and other digital stores, and on the PC community, that is where most people purchase their games. Obviously, there is a larger community out there than people think.

I would be saddened if pc didn't get GTA5 the way GTA4 ran on my ps3 almost made me sick to my stomach. I want to play GTA5 at its highest potential with 60fps and in 1080p. I don't comment everywhere that i want it for pc but i do want. And if people express their feeling towards pc version coming later i don't think there is nothing wrong. Doesn't really bother me personally as I can play the game at any rate, but at the same time I can understand the frustration of people who only own a PC and aren't in the financial position to buy a 360 or PS3. I still think it's highly likely that we'll see a PC version next year though. At which point I'll get the game for PC as well. We might have to wait 9 months or so after the console release but I'm confident it will heppen.

Rockstar delayed Grand Theft Auto IV if you remember and it didn't come out on PC at least after a delay ... but we've got better graphics.. no no let me say it again...

The Best f*cking Graphics

and if you added graphics mod witch is by the way not available for XBOX or the PS3 you'll get a better graphics that the consoles users won't have even in their own real life...

and the video editor

the "simple" and "Easy" ability to add your own music to the game

and adding cars/models/maps/missions/scripts... that makes the game even more better and with a large life like what happened in GTA San Andreas

Okay here we go again.

 

Let's stick with FACTS shall we. I'm going to tell you WHY Red Dead Redemption never came to PC (again!) and unlike the cretins will back it up with sources.

 

So the reason RDR never made it to PC? It was stuck in development hell and it was nothing short of a miracle it even ran on consoles. Everyone that seen the code said it was a giant mess making porting impossible. Rockstar would of had to pay a whole team to REDO the game with the same development time and cost of a new title.

 

There was major issues and arguments going on at San Diego studio and things were very heated with the suits back in NYC.
