KawakSallas
Now don't take this topic like it was a hater complaing about sh*t. What we seen today was amazing. I'm amazed, really am. But let's focus on the technical side of things. R* added a ton of stuff on this. I can say that is not the same game that we saw on GI article back in december. I think the game itself - Map, Story and such - is finished. They won't add anything more. But they have to ''polish'' everything, and by what we've seen, that is a LOT do polish. The IGN review was not pessimist without a reason. They can fix everything that need to be fixed? Absolutely. By 17th september? Well... not so sure. If they need to delay the game again, I'll understand, it will be for a good cause. But my fear is that they can not adjust something on time, and end up removing some feature from the final game. We've had several examples of reviews telling us one thing and when we get our hands in the game, what was told us was not there anymore. And it is a bit disappointing. So, 4 months. I still believe that is enough time, but if a delay is necessary... they have my support.

scarface910
How do you know Rockstar didnt add it right after november? For all we know all this is already completed and polished. Plus if we find anything wrong with the game our complaints will find its way to rockstar and they will usually find a fix for it afterwards. Francis44
Not so easy as it looks. In November we have new consoles and the attention will ship to them. They really do not have much time.
Red XIII
GTAV has been in development for nearly 5 years, yet people think that within 6 months rockstar has added all these features, I'm sure they were always going to be in the game from the beginning. Remember the for sale sign in the first trailer? or the 'rent apts' banner just above the garages in trailer 2?
ForDaNords
4 months is more than enough to polish a completed game.
Diesel311
It is possible they were adding it prior to November and they just showed a previous build to the previewers.
Revolution-XW
They've already been working on that for a while now Imo, if they delayed to Sep, then Sep it is imo.
Buffalo Soldier
If they want to delay it again, they can on these conditions: 1) It must be out by November, and no later than November. 2) Anyone who pre-ordered it for Spring 2013, like myself - is entitled to a goodybag of GTA V themed gifts, and a free poster. Kushi_Pete
After 4 hours I'm still f*cking confused. I can believe this can be done. My expectations where like completely sh*t compared to this. Edit. Oh yeah CVG said that they have like 500 people working on this so I think all the problems can be fixed.

StepY0gameUP
Are we making the game or are professional making it. Have some faith in rockstar they never disappointed. I'm sure the reason for the first delay was to add new features like they have. In did say there needs to be polishing etc etc but for all we know the demo that was shown could've been a couple months ago. Leaving them more time to have polished the game and to continue to do so. Where not talking about a small company like the ones who made brink or sabotage where talking about a company that change gaming history. A company that made games the way they are today. With gta there prob wouldn't be a lot of open world games. If you don't notice with the rpg elements and the driving that seems like nfs there's a reason for all this to add everything into one big games. The things we love about every game rockstar is trying to put into this game. Have alil faith bro. We need to stop judging the game by graphics b c it's not finish yet. SlappyPwnsAss
Do you have any idea how to develop and polish a game? No. So just wait, and let R* do their thing. They're not amateurs. They know what they are doing.
Hotband
I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed it again. Lots of these new features could go wrong at anytime.
jolzew1
I wouldn't be surprised if they delayed it again. Lots of these new features could go wrong at anytime. After reading IGN's preview I wouldn't either... I've read every online preview and all were pretty much singing the praises until I got to IGN's. This was the only preview that talked about observed issues (last couple paragraphs). From what they observed they said the pop ins were still present, the "wonkiness" of the Lindsay Lohan knock off getting in and out of the car... also said the graphics were unimpressive and not on par with what you would expect for a game this late in the xbox360 life cycle. "and it’s worth noting that Grand Theft Auto V is still a solid six months away from being released, so additional polish will no doubt be applied. But GTA V does currently have GTA IV’s texture pop-in issues, and graphically, it’s unimpressive. It looks like an enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto IV with an extra sheen added, but it also doesn’t stand up to its far more graphically-impressive contemporaries. It doesn’t look five-plus years newer than the game that came before it. The good news is that no one plays GTA for its aesthetics, but it’s nonetheless worth noting that the game looks decidedly dated this late in Xbox 360’s and PlayStation 3’s lifecycle" Does anyone know when this London preview happened? I'm wondering b/c of the "6 month" comment... It's also strange how IGN's review seems so different from the others... none of the other reviews talked about these issues... That's a little worrying, but if the game looks anything like the new trailers then I don't care. I personally think the 3 new trailers look better than most games I've seen lately. I thought the same too, I thought they looked great which is why when I read the IGN preview I was a little taken aback by how they called attention to all this stuff but no other online preview did... NoxiousWR
I think they know that if they delay it again... they'll lose out on quite a bit of money 'cause next-gen is already coming soon after so a lot of people will be focusing on saving for the new consoles rather than saving for GTA. So, for it to come out the same time as next-gen they're gonna lose out unless they release it on PS4/Next Xbox as well as 360/PS3

They were lyrical. IGN, not so much with my trust. Also, they seem to be expecting a current PC game (graphic wise)? As in a tombraider like? Ofcourse it's an 'updated IV'. Just because it's been 5 years, doesn't mean it should keep up with PC and new hardware. It's still the same hardware, it's just the software that's been optimized. There will always be a drawback with lighting and AA, for instance.

Yeh, I think if the next Xbox isn't backward compatible then i'd be pretty pissed at having to switch from either my PS4/Next Xbox (depending on what Microsoft bring to next-gen) to my 360 just to play GTA V. I'd imagine a lot of people would feel the same way.
