R* have already stated that money will be an integral part of this game and there will be several ways we will be able to spend it. Just look at Meta's for the <3 <3 <3 of $$$ topic to get some ideas, even R* showed signs of support to this thread so there are endless opportunities when it comes to money, properties and what not. EDIT: to add to what kesta said, if we buy a property with a helipad we can keep the helicopter and it will respawn, but I think you have to buy the copter first.
