I watched that latest video and i really don't see a bear in that. I'm pretty confident we'll see bears in the game though, but here i don't see it at all, sorry.

In the shark description it says the Alamo sea is freshwater. It's actually salt water. And in real life the salton sea is incredibly salty. When I was there I remember how nasty it was seeing all of the dead fish and fish skeletons washed up on shore. Presumably because the sea is getting so salty that fish just can't survive there anymore.

I think I may have found a crow in the Trevor trailer. The scene that starts at 0:22, with trevor flying the plane, if you look at the bottom of the screen an go frame by frame, you can see a black speck moving along, and it almost appears to flap, like a bird. Can someone else take a look at this and tell me what they see?

Damn, I really want to see animals in action. I missed them in the recent trailers. Why are they still hiding it? Perhaps they still are in the works.. but according to the previews it doesn't seem to be the case.

 

Anyways I also wanted to say thanks for the great database. Really awesome work here, Remi and contributors 

Yeah, I would love to see some animals in action, I bet that Rockstar are just hiding them on purpose, to save them for the actual game, maybe we will see some animals in screenshots or in the third trailer, though I wouldn't mind them waiting until the game has been released, think about it... playing the game for the first time and spotting all these animals! Can't wait! Thanks for the support!

It is a leporid. Along with picas, they are lagomorphs.

But for an average person, it is just a rabbit. Calling it a rodent is an error.

 

Well, actually, it isn't the rabbit in the picture. It looks like a hare. They're leporids, too.

Updated Also, yes it seems to be a hare, but it came up in the animal database for RDR, so if any of you guys can get me a picture of a rabbit in RDR, I would be more than thankful!

Hmm... is there actually a confirmation that the Alamo Sea is either freshwater or saltwater? Since Okin said that these are bull sharks, and bull sharks lives in freshwater it's got to be freshwater... just because the Salton sea is saltwater doesn't mean that the Alamo Sea has to be saltwater... is there any confirmation so we can confirm this?

EDIT: I'm sorry but they are just 2 pixels high, and it is impossible what kind of birds these are after we have gotten to see all the birds in the game... but amazing observation, creds to you sir!

Hey guys! Very nice work with this page. Think I may have spotted something new. In the picture with the "alleged" buffalo, there is actually 2 other animals in that picture.

 

On the beach it looks like a shark have stranded, or another big fish. You can see the body and especially the tail (closest to us). Also the wings (in lack of the right word) on both sides.

 

Also, and this I´m even more sure of. There is a big bird on the beach as well. A little more up on the picture from the possible shark. It even has a shadow beneath.

As great as the animals in RDR were, i've never really been solely hunting for them in the game or simply on the lookout much to see their behaviour. GTA for me is just the better game, it's just MORE for me and i can't wait to just go exploring for animals, to see what kind of different animals they have put in it, you know. That's why i'm going to be staying away from brand new info from now on, or at least, i'll try very hard, cause i don't want to ruin those 'Hey awesome...do i actually see a "insert animal name" there?' instead of..' ah yes, i read about that one.' .

We've been discussing this, but i doubt we'll see a zoo in this game, i don't see that happening. But who knows, you never know with Rockstar. It's going to be interesting to see if GTA V actually gets animals that RDR didn't have. There was a sh*tload of animals in that one.

Bears (I wont say confirmed) have a pretty good chance of being in because in this week's CVG GTA V o Clock they said that Rockstar talked about bears when they were showing the Demo to CVG.
