ruairidoc
BULLET TIME, SLOW MO DRIVING, DOUBLE DAMAGE Isnt very gta they need to keep it more realistic. Happy enough with other things especially the animals. If they have mountain lions it will be a vast ammount.

Diesleman
I don't care about the abilities, I'm sure ill find ways to use them for my enjoyment and ultimately if I find I don't like them I simply won't use them. Hope they have nothing to do with multiplayer though...
Cosmic Gypsy
I have to admit, out of everything i've heard, bullet time, slow mo and double damage was the biggest let down, generic abilities like this, literally just a gimmick. I'd much prefer they kept it casual instead of trying to include silly things like this.
hachiroku
Just like the power-ups in teh streets in GTA I II III and Vice City. Nothing new, actually.
The Scottish Guy
I disagree. Bullet time is an awesome feature which was done superbly in Max Payne 3. If R* manage to get the physics on par with that of MP3, I'm going to explode with joy. Hey, anythings possible at this point.

TheJasonGallant
I actually like the idea... We'll see how it looks when the game releases.
Lock n' Stock
They're just optional. If you don't like the sound of them, just don't use them. Simple as that mate. I like them personally. Makes the game seem more arcade-y like the 3D Era games.

Cosmic Gypsy
You can tell they thought "Hmm, what can we do to make this game more exciting to the children?.. I know! Let's include slow-mo, bullet time and rage mode!" These abilities make it hard to take the game seriously. But fair play, not like it's going to ruin the game for me, i just won't use it. Braindawg
I bet you're gonna sit your asses all quiet like, sh*tting your pants, playing V, not bitching about how you can use slowmo driving, shooting and rage punching.
ANT_P1989
Michael has bullettime, he's like a mixture of John Marsten and Max Payne. Loved the hell outta Red Dead Redemption. Franklin can slow down time when DRIVING. Trevor can go into a berserk mode where he deals more damage when FIGHTING. He's a drug dealer/user/alcoholic, I LOVE that he can trigger his VIOLENT SIDE and start knockin fools the phuck out!!!
GTAfan786
This is the most underrated feature. Don't judge it when you haven't even played the game, it's Rockstar, they know what they are doing. Besides, it's optional, you don't HAVE to use it.
SammyXNA
Want the game to be realistic? Don't use the characters special abilities then lol.
Red XIII
Keep it more realistic? SINCE WHEN HAS GTA BEEN REALISTIC, I GUESS YOUR TOO YOUNG TO REMEMBER ADRENALINE PIILS. HAHAHA I DRINK YOUR TEARS AND SAVIOUR THEM FOR A LONELY DAY AHAHA

I don't know about you guys but some sick part of me got a kick out of gunning down fools in slow motion. Besides, I don't think you'll be forced to use them if you don't want to. Rockstar is innovating. What do you want.... *AHEM* CoD?

Besides, it's optional, you don't HAVE to use it. The thing is, we can judge it, since these abilities are nothing new. Slow-mo was on midnight club and bullet time was on Max Payne. Things like rage has been on many games and has sucked ass each time.
CryptReaperDorian
You can already slow down time while driving in GTA IV (while using the cinematic view). So, that's not really that much of a new feature.
-Perfection-
So what, want it... use it. Don't want it... don't use it. It won't be in multiplayer anyways

Considering this game isn't made for children under the age of 17, I don't think they even care about the children dumbass. They did it because people actually like this and if they don't its optional, and I know for a fact people like will hate it, use it, find a use for it and end up liking it

BullworthAcademy
This is one of the best parts about it. I can never play a game without bullet time again lol I have so many hours logged into RDR and Max Payne 3, partly because of slow mo effects. I think they're well aware GTA players aren't all over the age of 18. I think they and everyone here, is well aware plenty of children of all ages, play GTA regularly. EDIT: My 5 year old nephew plays GTA IV, pretty sure these new generic gimmicky abilities are right up his street. Bullet time fit RDR well, i wouldn't know about Max Payne (never played it), but it certainly doesn't fit GTA. Slow-mo didn't even fit Midnight Club, let alone GTA. Rage mode is a fail on every game. Raavi
I don't get it. ZZCOOL
only thing i don't like is that they limit driving abilities to one character including flying so i have to choose a specific character if i want the best experience if i could train one favorite character to be best at everything then fine but limiting it to characters forcing me to switch between them to get the best driving/flying experience i don't like that one bit
