Liberty2k7
Is it just me or has the average age of users on gtaf dropped by about 10 years since yesterday? The game will be amazing. Have any of us played it? No, we haven't. Us true GTA fans have put our faith in rockstar for years and they never disappoint, and V certainly looks like no exception. Just what is it with people's obsession with other people's age on here ?? It's like the first thing someone says on here to have a dig at someone. You don't know the people you are talking to on here, there is no real way of knowing their real ages. I just don't get it.

The game is designed for a mature audience. It doesn't necessarily mean that all of the people that are complaining are of that age, it is just some of the reasoning behind their negative thinking sounds quite immature to me, hence why I assumed they were younger. Anyway, people are complaining when they haven't even played the game, that seems a bit premature considering how incredible it looks.
Death2Drugs
The only thing that actually bugged me (note what word I'm using) was that the map was an island. Sure, it's nothing big, but it does make it a little awkward. Hopefully, Rockstar adds something that at least makes the map feel believable, and I'm sure they will, not like GTA IV which was basically a metropolis in the middle of nowhere. Beee
so was GTA III, Vice City, San andreas? i never really understood the problem with it being an island?? thats how its always have been..
Mário César Baldessar Moro
I'm just dissapointed by the graphics, from what i've read they're not as good as shown in the trailers, which is extremely misleading Don't forget GTA is a massive open world game, and for that the graphics always was worst than other games of same time. And the graphics of the trailers be worse than in gameplay is something totally normal and expected. Just see GTA IV trailers and how it was on consoles. D3L3TD
@Beee I guess it's more about trying something different with the environment compared to previous GTAs, and the fact that a big ass city with countryside in the middle of the ocean is a bit strange to many people. I personally would've liked having endless ocean to the SW and endless desert/terrain to the to the NE, best of both worlds in this scenario. But I guess an island is fine, too. Cilogy
I'm most disappointed with how much people seem to be complaining about the graphics. I feel like IGN takes their reactions to the extreme; if graphics aren't amazing, they're "disappointing", if a game glitches occasionally it's "full of bugs!" This is not a next-gen game, so the graphics understandably won't be amazing. Having said that, they still look better than previous games in the series. The beauty of the landscape, the depth and variety of the gameplay, and just the sheer scope and ambition of GTA V are more than enough to provide an incredible game experience. Take a look at some early GTA IV screens: http://media.gtanet.com/images/3353_gtaiv_...ated_tracks.jpg http://media.gtanet.com/images/3354_gtaiv_..._brownstone.jpg http://media.gtanet.com/images/3363_gtaiv_...iberty_yard.jpg The textures and animations looked rather unfinished when you compare it to the final product. R* still has months to go before the game is released, so even if the reception of how GTA V looks is not positive enough, they have time to improve it. Inactive
GTAV.net summary includes - 'if you die, you'll restart from the last checkpoint'. Was disappointed first and thought they had removed hospitals (stupid) but when I came here, realised that it was mid-mission. Nothing much to say as disappointing. Nemesis2252
only thing that dissapointed me was the addition of character special abilities. bullet time, slow mo driving, and frenzy really dont seem to belong in a GTA game. obviously if you dont like it, dont use it... but it just doesnt seem like it should be in GTA at all. also, im pretty sure im one of the ONLY people to say this.... but im not crazy on total car customization. changing the paint color and changing rims is one thing. putting body kits and tinting windows and adding 'special' paint schemes.... basically turning a car into a rice rocket, seems to Need For Speed. but again, if you dont like it, dont use it. both are not big things, not game changing and it doesnt change my opinion on the game, just adding my 2 cents. Durden
There is virtually nothing in GTAV that has disappointed me so far. Before these previews, the only disappointment that I had was the denying of purchasing properties. As we all know, that's no longer an issue. I was also pretty upset in GTAIV that there were no RPG skills like SA had, and I was still a bit sad to hear GTAV would not have these either. Today's previews also made that no longer an issue!! I am very apprehensive about the new Wanted System. 5 stars max is a risky decision that deviates away from every GTA to date. I only hope the army come at 5 stars. This is my only remaining concern in GTAV.
Squishybubs
Nothing has really disappointed me, though I am concerned about a few things. · Vehicle handling · Health regeneration · Character abilities I just hope they feel natural. Other than that, really, the game sounds absolutely incredible.
tinman187
Normally I would say shut the f*ck up, but without the complaint's in the last preview, we wouldn't have had the new features added in since that delay. One thing though, GTA has never been about graphics, to me, GTA IV had some pretty decent graphics for a sandbox, if it's a slight improvement on that, I would be happy. Vice City was superior to San Andreas in term's of graphics, San Andreas however, was superior to Vice City in terms of gameplay. The game that is superior in terms of worldwide popularity, is San Andreas (Vice City is still my favorite simply because I love the 80's culture). And there my friend is what I mean when I say, graphics really don't matter that much to GTA. I mean if they are extremely terrible like 8 Bit terrible, then it's a problem. But from what I've seen, I'm pretty happy.
