If that's what anyone is complaining about go fu*k yourself. This game will be the best gta game to date and nobody should be disappointed with a game that they never even played yet, or that's not even finished yet. They obviously want to make it the best game possible and they do listen to the fans. Rockstar is probably one of the best companies when it comes to gaming. (Ea being the worst) Do you f*cking read anything i've posted? Yes the graphics look amazing IN THE TRAILER but the gaming journalism site kotaku have said that THE GRAPHICS DONT LOOK AS GOOD AS THE TRAILER so read the god damn OP before you post. blakeney Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 For me the only thing I'm not sure I'm comfortable with at this stage, is the "special" features, doesn't seem v "Gta"... but that said, I'm in no way "disappointed" by the news. i trust that how ever R* do it, it will feel natural to Gta and it will be done "right", this is just the first thing to ever make my trust even slightly falter on a R* decision. The health regen i was also a bit bothered to see.. but i guess as its only to 50% it makes sense seeing as we will have 3x health bars to worry about in the later/more challenging missions. I just hope the regen rate is "right" and not too fast. Out of combat it doesn't matter if its fast, but during a shoot out, when bullets are flying, i don't think it should regen at all.... and in combat but out "the heat" (ie escaped into your car and the shoot out is now a car chase) it should regen but slow. Pretty funny that some GTA fans are suddenly concerned about graphics and act like they're a top priority. Also funny that they think these very limited consoles are going to provide a next gen or PC like experience graphically in a game so vast and varied. elite378 Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 I'm just dissapointed by the graphics, from what i've read they're not as good as shown in the trailers, which is extremely misleadingand apparently R* still have no intention to do a PC or Next-gen version, this seems really stubborn because they know they can make more money from doing so and I just hope that they change their minds like they did about properties and put it on next gen, now don't get me wrong i'm hyped for the game and don't want to seem like a spoilt brat but the journalists made it known that the graphics were worse on screen than in the trailer, implying R* for some reason touched the trailers up or made them look better somehow, what do you think of this and what did you find most dissapointing from the new info? MosquitoSmasher Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 After being so goddamn impressed with all the trailers, multiple previewers last year claiming that it looked exactly like that,exactly like the screenshots and trailers while it was playing on the PS3, i was a big disappointed with this: As for looks, I'm honestly not sure what to make of the V's graphics. I never played a Grand Theft Auto for graphics, but I appreciated how good GTA IV looked in its day. I popped that game into my Xbox 360 again on Wednesday morning. It doesn't look as good as I remembered it. The GTA V I saw running on PS3 hardware at Rockstar looked better. That GTA V, though, didn't look as good to me as the one we see in the trailers. I suggested to the Rockstar reps I was talking to that their trailers are captured off of a PC, off of something that's pumping out better graphics. The version I was watching them play might be an older build, they said, but, no, the trailers are captured from PS3/360-standard machinery. I asked them this again, hours later, to be sure. Yes, they said. The trailers are, as always, running in the game's graphics engine, mixing gameplay and cutscenes, and—their phrase, not mine—it's current-gen footage. Maybe what they capture for trailers is just staged well. I don't know. Or maybe the graphics will look better and better as the game gets closer to release. GTA V is by no means ugly. It looks quite nice. But what I saw in trailers never looked current-gen to me. What I saw played in front of me did. I wish Rockstar would say they're making a next-gen version or a PC version, but the company line is that they have no plans to do so. Take that for what you will. I'd still like a GTA V that looks as sharp as the game does in its trailers. It's not only Kotaku saying this, but also a Danish preview. I'm somewhat of a graphics whore and i really really liked what the trailers showed me, but it seems to be a bit different. So it's kinda weird..Rockstar says that the trailers are captured from PS3/360 standard machinery...yet it doesn't look like that when they showed it. Hmmm.
