Rockstar informed us there would be no purchasing of buildings and yet they have changed that all to our amazement and happiness. I think at one point they also said there would be no customization ie: haircuts, tats etc because it would be to difficult to implement.. they have changed that. Without hanging me from a tree or asassinating me with your potato gun.. What are your opinions on there now being a second city? I never expected there will be, I am actually content with random towns. But rockstar have now mentioned there will be a lot of airports and have changed their mind a lot.. Does anyone get the feeling another city could pop up? After all.. they wont have shown us the whole game because they do want to keep some more surprises for us in the future. They would have to build it first, then fill it with content, change the mission structure to include the new area's, fix all the bugs that would arise from changing such a large part of the game. You have another place to save the game or collect cash to buy more properties. Big deal. It was a useless feature in SA and it's going to be useless in V too. Yeah, it's quite possible they saw the disappointment at the lack of property purchasing and customisation, and delayed it partly due to that. saintmarks Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 personally I think its great how R* does this to us.they say somethings not in,we get all down about it,and BOOM,jus kidding its in . it would be different if they said something was in and it wasn't. it keeps the magic alive for us,this is why all the haters about the famallies not returning and past characters not returning etc have to stop hatin,cos we don't know if R* is serious or jus letting us down in order to give us a great surprise. OT: yes they went back on their word,but hey who cares. we can buy property and business to generate a revenue! 73duster Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Rockstar will go down as the greatest game developer of all time. They are one of the few companies who still places QUALITY over a quick buck. Don't get me wrong, this is a BUSINESS first, and of course they are in this to make money, but they take pride in their products. They are also going to push OTHER developers into making better products as well. They have ALSO shown what current gen consoles are capable of, which is FAR more than most thought possible. It seems they were integrated late in development (sometime between November and now), so I hope they're worthwhile features.
