AndyGanteks
Each character in V will have a set of special skills. As read in the previews: - Franklin, an adrenalin junkie, has the ability to slow down time while driving - Michael the career criminal turns all Max Payne with his own version of bullet time. - Trevor, the game's crazy-eyed nutjob, has a frenzy mode, where he's able to do double damage, while taking only half in return. As a bonus, he also has a unique melee attack, yet to be revealed. So, what's your take on this? Too unrealistic, too much Max Payne/RDR features? Is it unneeded or not? In my opinion, it really isn't needed, it makes the caracters seem like gods a bit too much, and i'm sure it will only make the game even easier. IV was already very easy. Discuss, and sorry if anyone made the topic already.
Dnero
Franklin should have another ability rather than that slowing down while driving ability tbh, it just feels eh.

superhobo666
Franklin should have another ability rather than that slowing down while driving ability tbh, it just feels eh. this. it doesn't really fit with what Franklin does. Though his better driving out of the box is good. I would have expected that he'd have not just better control of a vehicle, but stealing cars as him would be a lot easier than the other two protags. Gaby86
You do not need special skills to the characters. This is so childish.
GTA_stu
I'll admit it was one of the things which I was kinda apprehensive about when I first read it. Franklin's seems really situational as well compared to the other 2. Trevor's sounds the most useful and Michael's sounds pretty good too. But Franklin's just seems like it would only be used in certain circumstances and way weaker than the other 2 special abilities.
Paulsson94
I really despise this idea. This is no superhero game. I was expecting more like you could steer the car more specific with franklin like if you the left analog just a little to the left franklin would turn just a little to the left and if you pull the analog even more he would turn even more. But at this second step Trevor and Micheal would first start to turn. I hope you get what I am meaning. About Micheal I thought that he would just have a smaller bullet spread then Franklin and Trevor (better aim) About Trevor I thought the same thing like Franklin except with aircraft. Staten
Franklin's seems really situational as well compared to the other 2. In a game centered around heists, I think driving away from pursuing cops is a situation that's going to happen rather a lot, so being able to weave through heavy oncoming traffic seems very useful, not to mention fun. BUT THE BENZ
Reading about those skills had me really satisfied. I think it's a great way to combine elements from earlier games that worked so gat-damn well. Bullet time is just one of the best things that happened to gaming (thank you REMEDY, big time respect) and after RDR and MP3 I honestly couldn't imagine a new GTA without it. So excited for it.....it's incredible
UberVIIX
A lot people say it's stupid because they don't need it/ it's too easy, or it's not realistic (which GTA never was any f*cking way). I have seen more than 10 people type something similar to this as a reason for not liking the idea: "I'Rs a greatz driverz and mi pilotinz skillz r's mad dope, not to menteions mi kill2 deaf ratio on CoD shootin SKILLZ! I'z don't likez skills ands abilityseses cuz i Rs a badazzses alreadyes! I's be so badazzes at lyfe Dis sheitz jus gonna bez holdin me back dudez..." I say this, Welcome to the future gentlemen, don't worry everythings gonna be okay, calm the f*ck down...

I just think that Michael's and Trevor's abilities are much more useful because they're combat based. And usually shooting or combat is much more frequent in missions than escaping from the cops is. I'm not saying Franklin's isn't useful, but compared to the other 2, it just seems less useful and more niche. The abilities overall just seem a bit, I dunno, strange I guess. They seem a bit crow-barred in, and have been used to give the characters more flavour and uniqueness, which I understand but I'm just not sure it's the best way of doing it.
