Agni Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 Okay, the addition of a driving skill worries me. I want driving to depend on MY OWN skill, not some stat bar. Getting the driving skill isn't going to automatically make you the best driver in the world, even at full stats the driving will still be totally dependant on your skills as a driver. Deffpony: I guess you can stop worrying about car customization now that its been confirmed, along with buying property. In order for a driving skill to be noticable the driving has to be arcadish. That stands out the most. I literally have NO COMPLAINTS. Partial health regen? f*ck yes! Special skills? f*ck yes! Purchasable property? f*ck yes! sohyped Man this is gonna' be soooo awesome! Like when they state the weird GTA moments like when the girl gets out of the car... I understand what they mean. But Im not in the least bit surprised that they had the worst preview. I really cant believe that they listened to us. They swallowed their pride and gave the fans what they want. This preview is exactly what I wanted. He doesn't think the graphics look great; that's valuable information, even if it is just his opinion. You haven't seen the game in action yet, how can you possibly insult him for making such an observation? Even the writer at Kotaku had the same concerns, pointing out that it doesn't look as good as the trailers... you're a bunch of crybabies. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he (as am I) isn't griping about the whole "realism" aspect, but the difficulty aspect. Regenerating health takes a large part of the challenge out of a game. It's basically just go in guns blazing, then after you get shot 90 times, just hide behind cover for 10 seconds and it never happened. Edit: Just found out that it only regens halfway.
