Great stuff R*, but no more map screens now please

I understand what you are saying Scottish Guy. The thing that bothers me is that they have shown us pretty much every portion of downtown.

 

But the first time the controller is in your hand and the game is in motion it will be fresh still. They cant spoil that moment

I did read your post. But that's still what your asking them to do, change their planned screenshots to please you. some of us want to see more of those shots, see what i'm saying?

 

Anyway as i said, it is highly unlikely that your experience of the game will be diminished at all. There are still plenty of areas they haven't shown think of how big they said the map is in comparison to what we've seen.. There will be some big surprises for you. And that which you've already seen will still delight you when you look at it in real-time.

I'm not saying it's going to ruin my experience to a seriously concerning degree, but the most important and fun element to a GTA for me is the map, and exploration of it. Discovering and looking at all the new surroundings. Just because I'm not moving around when looking at a screen, doesn't mean I can't see what's before my eyes.

 

Of course when I'm in a plane flying over the beach it's going to be an amazing experience, but it's not going to be like..."wow, this looks incredible looking at this view for the first time"... when technically I've already seen it, get what I'm saying now?

 

It just baffles me that even after the many, many screens of the city/countryside we've already had, some of you still want more!! I mean, don't you like the element of exploration?

I aint too happy with the little amount of country side we seen knowwhamean? its always the same mountain with them trees n sh*t.

Yeah... The same exact hills and mountains they've already shown. It's a little worrying. I hope they have a Los Santos or San Andreas state forest or something with a hiking trail or something. Would be awesome to have the peds interacting in the woods and sh*t.

fasho, i would love to wear that hockey mask and outfit michael is wearin and do some friday 13th sh*t in them woods to some unsuspectin npcs knowwhamean? i will be happy with the amount of them screens when rockstar show me some real countryside, like them forests n sh*t...

YE tell me about it were is mount chiliad with surrounding wilderness, lets just hope that they are hiding most of it from us, i hope they do as it will be a big surprise

I enjoy exploration, but i already know there's going to be a city, a mountain, a desert etc. When i look at screenshots that's all i see. I don't really take note of each geographical region's relation to others. So it will still all be fresh to me.
