I am now coming to the conclusion of why they suddenly decided they wanted those extra months. I think they got the feedback and reaction from the first preview back in November and decided to change their minds and add in a few extra features and refinements.

 

This is the first time I've seen Rockstar seemingly directly react to feedback like this.
