Chips237
DESCRIPTION As the title suggests, the aim of this mission series is to design all six beta missions that were cut off from GTA: SA. Some of these missions have unique features that are not possible to design in DYOM, so it might take a long time to design all six missions. I might add audio, but that's less likely to happen. MISSIONS
MISSIONSSTATUSDESCRIPTION ImpoundedComplete as of 5/7/2013Carl takes his whip to Cesar's to get it modified. However it has been towed. Satourn
I don't know how you're going to implement the towing and the battle between RC toys, but I'm looking forward to this. Good luck.
Chips237
In the mission, "Impounded", i need a vehicle which CJ had before it got towed. Ideas, anyone?

Chips237
Sorry for double post. "Impounded" has been finished! Since DYOM site is broken ATM, i have uploaded the file to MediaFire: http://www.mediafire.com/?89j77an91tpl15j
salvadorc17
Good idea, how long time will take do these?
Satourn
Comparing your mission to the one featured in TTDISA I can say that you did a good job. Good luck with Doberman.
The Odyssey
According to GTA wiki, the mission "Fish in a Barrel" meant to have a part where you protected Ran Fa Li from a mafia attack. However, its gta wiki, so its not so reliable.
Chips237
@salvadorc17 Thanks. It will probably take 7-18 days. Tanked Up and Roadside Assistance will be skipped for the meanwhile. @SatournFan Thanks. @thegtaman531 It will probably be an extra mission for the series.
Zizo008
Something that can make this much much more better if you added sounds.
Alex_Parker
Here is my review. PRESENTATION: • Writing: Excellent. Dialogues are very nicely constructed and really match the characters. Instructions to the player are also mentioned clearly. 9.999 out of 10 from my side! • Cutscenes: Excellent. Most of the mission is made of cutscenes, so they have to be good. And actually, they are excellent. Good work by the designer there! GAMEPLAY: • Difficulty: Easy/Normal. (Depends on your skill). Being a mission related to Cesar, it is concerned with driving. The player has to get back his car from the impound and has to avoid the 4 star wanted acquired while going back to Cesar's place. If your driving is really poor, this can be a challenge. But for most players, this is easy. Difficulty: 4/10 • Duration: Short. Being a moderate chase and provided with a sports-car, this isn't a long mission. The length is reduced due to more usage of cutscenes. But it's absolutely fine. • Variety: I don't feel any need to mention about variety because there's only 3 main characters and the police. But the various animations for the characters used are very good and well-timed. Nice car CJ's got there! SUMMARY: Overall, the mission is very enjoyable. It gave me a feeling that the mission is actually a part of the original storyline. Everything was up to the mark. Very good work by the designer! P.S. - A minor error which I noticed : The designer has forgot to put Cesar as "must survive".

Chips237
Hi, I've decided to recontinue this. I lost the 19% of the Doberman mission, so I'll have to restart it from scratch. I'll also fix the OP because some of the new GTAF updates broke it. Terano

Martin_GDF
Well... this is a really good idea. But it's hard to find information about the six beta missions, i only know 3 or 4 xD And also, DYOM hasn't got the implements that those missions have or had. So it's kind of hard hahahaha, also, there were more beta characters that are not able to import without skins.
Chips237
After a few days of hard work, Doberman has finally been finished! Check the OP for link. Tip: If you thought all my missions are supposed to be easy, you're quite wrong with this one.
Chips237
Hi, just to remind that "Roadside Assistance" and "Tanked Up" will be skipped as they have features that are currently not supported by DYOM. So, the next mission I'm creating is "The Truth is Out There". The new V8 features would certainly help. Martin_GDF

Chips237
Just a quick announcement. "The Truth is Out There" will begin production this weekend. Snoops27
Chips237
Bumped. I re-added the table, but I have no idea how to make it centered. As for The Truth is Out There, I've only done 26% and I will probably do more progress after Valentine's Day.
Chips237
Dunno if this counts as triple posting, but I have found an idea how to implement the battle between the RC Toys and the towing. For the battle, CJ will minigun/shoot the invading RC Tigers, with Zero's RC Toys distracting the Tigers. For the towing, you will not tow at all. The tow truck's wheels were blown out, so Cesar jacks the vehicle and will drive the tow truck and you should follow him in the Sultan back to the garage. Chips237
Quadruple post! Anyways, I bumped this to tell people that I will resume work on "The Truth is Out There" and will hopefully finish the last four missions before Fall.

Chips237
Alpha missions? There are two available. P.S: I will update the mission being designed, The Truth is Out There to contain SOUNDS. Screw it, impossible to add sounds. Chips237
I will try to finish all missions before the 7th of May, 2014. Thank you for all who supported, downloaded and commented on "The Beta Missions" over the one year period of the MP. This may be my last mission pack, but that I am not sure of.
