GTAV will have the FAMILIES and the BALLAS but the SETS will change. The Families are the GANG: Grove Street Families, originally were the Orange Grove Families which is a SET from the Families gang. Their turf is Grove Street. The Seville Boulevard Families are another SET from The Families gang and their turf is Playa del Seville. The Temple Drive Families are another SET whose turf is Temple Drive. These sets IMO will not return, but instead will be remembered in GTAV thru wall graffiti and maybe dialogue. I believe they're a defunct set, and RockStar wants to introduce new sets. People keep screaming Grove Street this and that, but they're a set from the 3D Era, only a Gang as a whole can change eras. I do think GSF will still be around, I don't think Franklin is part of them though. I think his gang is HF or KHF or HSF...That was the prominent gang graffiti on the wall in his trailer. Because if GSF returned, I'd rather see BG Lil CJ, YG Sweet or OG Sweet and OG Carl. But Sweet and Carl couldn't come back, since they're "3D Era" characters. I think it'd be good to be a part of a different set because it allows them to change motivations and such; i.e. GSF was strictly no drugs but Lamar is a drug dealer. In the second shot of the trailer, at the car wash you see graffiti on a wall but you can only see the last two letters: "DE." What's important to note, is it's the exact same font as the "The Hills" tag behind Lamar later in the trailer. This leads me to believe it says HILLSIDE. Whilst I think it will take place in a different set and that the Grove Street set will be referenced a few times by other gang members, that's no more likely than it actually being Grove Street Families. People use the 'universe' thing as a way of enforcing their views, claiming all sorts of rules about who/what can and cannot cross over. But the reality is, Rockstar can bring over anything they want to. It's just their way of saying that the new versions of cities are not the same as the old ones in an attempt to cut out any confusion.
