MattyIce Posted May 2, 2013 Share Posted May 2, 2013 It's fairly obvious with the news that sharks are confirmed, dismemberment is as well. If being attacked while surfing or swimming, the player should not be killed every time. If the player is not killed every time, this clearly means "close calls" will take place and the shark will have the ability to rip off an arm or leg, before you make your escape. Once you get to land, your dismembered arm or leg will be repaired with a quick stop at the lifeguard station. Depending on how well of a surgeon the lifeguard is, your arm/leg can be fully healed in 10 secs. If the lifeguard is a slacker, it could take up to 10 mins of surgery.
