Miss Darko
Mr. Darko just called Kendrick Lamar a classic Well not everything on there will be great. I mean, I'm not a fan of rap really so that's probably at least two stations I won't really be listening to. I'm calling Stevie Wonder and Queen great, though. Even that is not my favorite kind of music, but it's definitely fun to listen to. Nobody plays the kind of music I really love on the radio, so I wouldn't expect it in GTA. But whatever station hosts those songs should be a great listen, full of memorable classics.
Lelouch The Zero
I really don't understand how people like and listen to rap. I used to like it but now it gets boring because all of the rap beats sound similar nowadays. Hell, the music is also cliche as hell. I'd rather listen to classic country than that crap any day. Cutter De Blanc
Once again Kendrick Lamar is "great" Never heard that J-Rock song before yesterday, but I think it bumps. Got a cool kinda ghetto vibe to it. Was Kendrick Lamar that other midget looking fellow? His part wasn't as awesome, but I didn't find it intolerable. Like the song says, "You ain't gotta like it but the hood gon' love it."

Homemade Dynamite
GTA IV's soundtrack suffered from having way too many underground/garage songs that weren't even good to listen to. Sorry, but I can't accept this. You see, all of the underground tracks is what MAKES IV mamorable. If R* only used songs that are really popular and known now, then when all that is forgotten 6 months after the release the soundtrack will be stale. VC and SA had great soundtracks because of the classics people will remember for a long time. IV's have a lot of songs I can remember. It got even better in EFLC. It got worse. Radio Broker turned into one of the worst stations in the game while Vladivostok completely lost its identity. I'm not saying it should have things like Justin Bieber or Ke$ha (believe me I don't want THAT) but it should have songs that are good and recognizable. Homemade Dynamite
Wtf so they have to be mainstream songs to be good Not saying that exactly, but most of the underground/garage songs they chose were terrible.
Khaos_Kiwi
I like all the songs so far that they have used in the trailers. Like some posters, I would like some songs that are more "mainstream" and recognizable, but I also like some of the songs R* comes up with. I like how they fit the theme and 'vibe' of the game, rather than including just whatever is popular on the radio at the moment. Like hearing "Billie Jean" when you first get in a car in Vice City, the music in V should be about the emotion connected with the experience. And I have no doubt they will do just that. John The Grudge
I really liked GTA IV's soundtrack. It suited the setting and some of the stations were excellent. Personally I loved K109, Liberty Rock Radio, The Vibe, IF99 and Flash. There's a great variety of music in GTA IV and it's radio stations hold up well when compared to previous games. Mokrie Dela
I hope we get a better soundtrack in this game with more recognizable songs. GTA IV's soundtrack suffered from having way too many underground/garage songs that weren't even good to listen to. Vice City is widely considered to have the best soundtrack of all time because it's filled to the brim with recognizable songs that people actually enjoy. They should look to that as an example of how to make a good soundtrack, not GTA IV. I disagree - IV had a lot of songs i've never heard of and would never have known about - I enjoyed listening to Radio Broker - it also added to the feeling of being "new" to the city. I never listened to the rap or LCHC though (apart from the latter in TLAD but even then i stuck to LRR mostly). Even with BOGT i listened to the latino station. The reason Vice had the best sound track is because it's the 80s - 80s music is hugely iconic and legendary. It was the birth of new wave and electro music, and even rap was becoming big. It was all that FEELING. V won't match this, because the music today is NOT recognisable, unless they have Lady Gaga (hint in michael's trailer? ) and Bieber on the ST. it's looking promising to me though - Stevie wonder, Queen, Ogden nuts thingy (i can never remember the band or the title). I REALLY hope for some Johnny Cash, maybe a custom music radio station (Fifa 11,12,13 managed it) too? I want Flashback to return, with 70 and 80 music - with Toni returning herself. I want the radios to be MASSIVE - hell, i'd happily download and pay for additional stations if it meant extra songs and speech etc. 2 hours of 70s and 80s music would be awesome as well as some good modern rock, and i don't mean the pissy pop-rock, i mean proper rock. Reggae, Classical, these have to return too and i think we need some Punk Rock - like in tony hawks games - "surfing" music, you know? HANG TEN DUDE! GTA has always gotten soundtrack right. III's was alright - it suffered in my eyes because not much of it was my cup of tea - VC's was just spot on, they simply wont beat it, ever; San An was good, i think i actually listened to EVERYTHING; IV was also good. They all fit the game. Now we need Californication by RCHP, only R* needs to pay them so rewrite it: "San Andreasication" The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. I REALLY hope for some Johnny Cash , maybe a custom music radio station YES!! Hoping for his music to be finally featured in gta as well, they had a song of his in scarface: the world is yours (another gta style game) and it worked perfectly: Hopefully the ring of fire donut place from the trailer is some type of a hint Edited May 2, 2013 by BFR579

Tipper
GTA IV's soundtrack had a lot of variety. And it fit the setting perfectly. And it wasn't all about underground new songs. There were some classics too. Some people said it lacks songs we can recognize, well I disagree completely. Just listen to Liberty Rock Radio and tell me these songs are unknown and not unjoyable. There was always a radio station that fit every moment. Rap stations when cruising in a SUV around Bohan, Jazz when driving a luxury sedan through Downtown Algonquin, classic rock when riding a chopper with your fellow bikers (or actually for pretty much every situation), eastern european pop around Hove Beach obviously, disco when on mission for the clubs... Nothing was out of place, IV's soundtrack was as good as San Andreas' and close to VC's
