How will you tell your loved ones you're leaving

Gta V isnt just another game where you pop it in and turn the console off after a few hours or minutes, NO this is a new experience, this game took another road with three characters and MUCH more packed in one.

 

FACT: At times you will forget there are even certain features in the game because there's just too damn much.

Like if you play for weeks flying planes and customizing cars, hanging out in grove street, you'll forget about submarines/golfing and more.

 

 

So my question is... How will you tell your family/friends/loved ones that youre going to be "away" for a while in another world, and that its not just another game?

Well, first I think you need to tell yourself to stop being so dramatic. Yes, there are some games I've played for 5 hours at once the first time I play (Far Cry 3 being the most recent), but eventually you will start moderating play time just like you moderate everything else.

Saying that..... GTA IV I had completed in 3 evenings.

 

AND I was messing around. I never even felt like I was overplaying it, but I must have played it for around 10 hours straight on the first play.. and no other game has ever done that to me.. besides perhaps RDR but I think it took me a couple more days to complete

Ima put in for a week off work an get a half oz of amnesia haze then I'm gonna come out of my room 1 week later pale faced with 2 black eyes an I won't have to explain sheet because gta v will be on the news and they'll see the news then look at me and say ohh so that's what happened to u haha.

Give my girlfriend a kiss and tell her that I'll be on autopilot when I play and won't be listening to much. She understands lol.

This will be the last thing I say to anybody for about a year or so

 

"Hey mom, will you take me to Walmart so I can get a copy of GTA V? Thanks!"

 

Then I will proceed to walk in Walmart and go get my copy silently, then on the ride home stare at the case and droll over it silently. I will then go inside my house and go to my room and only come out for emergencies (taking a piss or sh*t, supper)
