Braindawg
This thread might have slight spoilers about GTA IV. I've just rewatched Michael's trailer, and the idea that he "really wants the other stuff too" made me think of GTA IV. Why? Niko came to Liberty City to look to find someone, and start a new life away from his home. Along the way Niko(The player) will have a few choises to make that could affent the story. If money has more value than other things to the player, it may have consequences. So what does GTA V have to do with this? I think somewhere during the story you, playing as Michael would have to choose between "The almighty dollar" and other things. Michael cares about his family so perhaps somebody could die? His wife apparently has a lover. Maybe you'll get the choise to kill him? This could go the same for Franklin. He's talking about how he wants to get out of "this bullsh*t" and make legit money. Maybe a choise between cash and loved ones would go for him? We can see he has a girlfriend in the second trailer. Any thoughts?

GTA-King
I personally don't think Michael cares about money at all. He just likes the adrenaline rush of a heist, I think. Would make sense looking at how his family life is. Not saying he doesn't care for his family (which it is pretty obvious he does from he new trailer). He seems to be at a point where he doesn't feel "alive" anymore. Returning to crime could help him, but it could also put his family in danger. Michael is such an interesting GTA protagonist, am I right?
hellfury66
hmm i think all 3 make choises in the story that their forced to do like in iv ray boccino tells niko to go and kill teddy at that aprt. building in algonquin. or your freely to either have niko kill darko whats his name or let him live. in that mission an appointed time or something like that. it can also be like in iv with the missions like have niko do the deal with dimitri mission and have roman die. or the revenge mission and go kill dimitri at that cargo boat and have kate die by jimmy pego. i think it will be some thing like that in the story too. He has a family, a nice house, money, however he still wants to do blue collar heist. I'm interested to find out is angle.

Michael is such an interesting GTA protagonist, am I right? Definitely the most enigmatic protagonist yet. But I think he does care about his family, just that he's bored to death with life... Depressed and doesn't show his feelings about anything. That will change during the story. I'm sure he'll start revealing his true colors once he starts heists again. Maybe even more so once he finds out about his wife cheating on him. I think he might even break down to his therapist about it.
Micheal Soprano
Im more interested in the choices trevor could make: Should I slit this guy's throat or should I stab him in the belly But I think trevor is an important character here. At first he may be the fun guy without any character, but it might just turn out that he ends up doing a noble or epic deed that may affect the story dearly.
