copperrobber Posted May 1, 2013 Share Posted May 1, 2013 THey are only guessing, they have had wrong with everything related to V so far, in january they said that a insider had told them that R* would realese the game in april and the boxart will appear in like a day or two, the next day it was announced that V was going to be realesed in Sep, and Boxart even later. I'm still not sure whether I was right and R* want to make sure to get out as much stuff as possible before the Durango reveal or not, but at least the timing fits. I'm not gonna complain either way. They claim to have "sources" - but once put up an entirely fake CV of a Rockstar North dev which listed an October 2012 release date. Another time, a few days before GTAV's delay announcement, they also made announcements of how Rockstar is "about to" start the marketing campaign and showcase many things - which, as we know, didn't turn out to be the case. That said, what they say could have some sort of accuracy. Publications (both print and online) have started to receive assets for their previews. Being that Rockstarinformer's founder is in Holland, it won't surprise me if a publication there told him about this artwork. Holland has a long history of announcing, releasing or leaking things before it's supposed to go out - whether it's a trailer, screenshot or those wanted posters for IV. Slipping the details of upcoming artworks to a fan site isn't unrealistic. I do know that there will be new artwork, in addition to over 20 new screenshots released tomorrow.
