arran94 Posted May 1, 2013 Share Posted May 1, 2013 Not trying to start a console war but I was wondering what platform would be better for GTA V i have a ps3 and Xbox and was thinking all multi-platform games have a better fps on Xbox 360 but ps3 uses blu ray discs so there would be no multiple discs, what are you guys getting it on? Obviously its all subjective and everyone will have there own reasons why they will choose one over the other and why they think one is better. What you need to do is sit down and think about what benefits YOU will gain from each console and what will help YOU enjoy the game the most. reform Posted May 1, 2013 Share Posted May 1, 2013 Eh, well past GTA games 360 has been the lead console, with work ported over to PS3, but it's supposedly the other way around this time. Either way, I don't think it'll make much difference. I use PS3 more just because online is free and they have better/more games on their store to download. It's the internetz, 95% isn't civilized over here... But to answer your question. They're showing gtaV on ps3 so that implize it'll run a bit better on ps3 than on xbox. I've bought every single third party game for my 360 and i intend to do that again. I prefer the 360 because i dig the system itself more because of Xbox Live and the party chat possibilities which i use to always chat with my friends while gaming. I prefer the controller 100% over the PS3 controller and so on. I expect both versions to be pretty identical, because apparently none will be a port. I guess that should mean both versions will be the best they can be for the system. It does slightly worry me that they only seem to be showing the PS3 version to the press, but maybe those worries are for no good reason. No third party game has performed and looked a lot worse compared to the PS3 version of it...no reason it should be now.
