This question is maybe posted a little soon in regards to the release day. I hope someone maybe can give some information though.

 

1. What can be expected at the game stores in Los Angeles on release day?

- Special effects?

- Special editions?

- One of a kind promotional displays?

- Where would be the best place to be when the game is released?

 

2. What can be expected at the game stores in other major cities in the U.S.?

- New York?

- Miami?

- Las Vegas

- San Francisco

- Other cities

 

3. What can be expected at the game stores in other countries?

- Europe

- Asia

- Of cause cities within the continents mentioned. I do not believe Asia is a country...

 

Do anyone have experiences from when other GTA's were released? What was done in NYC when GTAIV was released?

Can we see something similar to the events from GTAIV release?

Well... I expect the general midnight opening but since the game is located in "Los Angeles"... can't you expect something extra there? And which game store in L.A. is the place with the most action?
