Honestly, I don't think I needed any more information after watching all 3 trailers. I was expecting to perhaps see underwater scenes, or something about the Epsilom program or maybe showing off Mt Chilliad, but you know what..they don't need to.

 

With about 4 and a half months left I can safely say I can wait in hibernation until the release. Now I might just read a preview or too but for now Rockstar can stay silent again for all I care. Let the countdown to September begin.

I'm satisfied... until Thursday! But after that, Ill be fine waiting for a trailer to come out in August/September. I'm already hyped enough for this game. A confirmation about car/gun customization would be nice. Oh well, this game will be epic even without that.

As i don't have any consoles (other than my Wii U) i'll have to wait several months for PC version. I probably won't be able to resist spoiling it for myself.

I'll be blunt; I wasn't overly-impressed with the new videos. It's still nice to get something new though.

 

Michael - Really the only one I enjoyed. The music was great and you get to see a lot of his family life.

Franklin - Underwhelming. I'm not big on hip hop, and it just seemed like stereotypical action that we already expect to be in the game.

Trevor - Decent. Not big on country either. Once again, really nothing we haven't seen before.

 

My main issue is that I felt there were too many cutscenes and not enough gameplay. I also would have liked to seen more new locales. But like I said, I'm satisfied with getting anything new at this point.

I agree, I think we've received more than enough info. UNLESS there is so much more to this game that it wouldn't spoil things by divulging even MORE info. I still can't believe how much content is packed into this game.

I liked the trailers, but I agree with your point about the cutscenes. I would have rather seen some more gameplay.

I fell into the hole again and went to the mapping thread even though I said I wouldnt! But luckily i just skimmed through it. Either way I just want to stick to official information from now on.....but I know that thread will suck me back in

 

Oh yeah and the trailers were amazing of course. They didn't give away as much as I though they did. I saw them like 7 timed before work and going to see them again when I get home.

I think this is great. I love how they aknowleged us guys who asked for better police cars, Hopefully they have these caprice/fusion based cruisers in as common police cars WITH the older crown vics (police groups have done this, new police cars and they run old crown vics until they can afford/need to upgrade the whole fleet.)

 

only other thing I'd want to see is a map, but we won't see that until release when we open the game box.

 

or an official confirmation that they are doing a PC build, and it's not a port like IV. if they did that, I'd definitely buy the PC version (that, and my Xbox is dieing, I don't want to have to buy a new 360/ps3 when I have a capable gaming desktop.)

especially if PC had a collectors edition. i could justify a markup just for the PC version, even.

 

news I want: Official confirmation of a NON PORT PC version.

maybe a trailer in July/August.

 

 

I did like how, besides trevor, both of the trailers proved almost all of our theories about franklin and michael wrong.

 

we all thought Michael was a laid back, calm and calculating person. meanwhile he's actually destructive and chaotic.

 

We also thought Franklin wouldn't play a part in gangs/there would be no gang relation in the story. it sure looks like there will be emphasis on gangs.
