ainsz
So, quite some time ago I made a topic, discussing the idea of having the same car models but from different eras. Also I spoke of how I missed the old Perennial in GTA IV. Well boogers and lipstick, I can confirm the old Perennial is back for GTA V. Hopefully this means we'll get different era models in the game. Another example from the trailers is the Buffalo and Super GT. This is the celebration topic! ainsz
Yeah, that's it. It's more VCS/LCS era. I always preferred the GTA III - SA era model. Still, this good.

I also think you could be onto something with the idea of 'multiple generations of cars of the same model', I posted somewhere in Franklin's trailer topic about this after people spotting the different but similar vans, trucks and more specifically the Buffalo. It's possible it's just different builds and placeholders etc., but the idea of multiple generations of car models seems a very Rockstar thing to do for detail at very little cost to resources except perhaps disk-space. EDIT: I'm not sure if I might have misunderstood you and that you mean car models returning from previous GTA titles? Ignore me if that's the case.. EDIT2: Yeah, that is what you meant.. NOTHING TO SEE HERE.

That's the Regina from TLAD, just with a minor facelift.

It seems cars are also allowed to cross universes

ainsz
Ohh.. Yeah it is. Well we've still got the Buffalo and the Super GT to go on. I think it's an interesting idea, having different era models.
