Exactly, all we've seen are the colours, no one ever said there wouldn't be gangs, I've always said it would be better to them better based on reality like they were in GTA IV, but I DID say I would hate it if we had to do all that gang sh*t in the story, which Franklin's trailer confirmed sadly, but at least Michael and Trevor look different enough to put up with it.

I guess you could say that's One Third of the game I'll have no interest in. But like I said, Michael and Trevor look far enough away from this gang banger sh*t, so I know who I'll be spending my non-mission time with.

But anyway what is with everyone saying grove st is back (it might be) but the set is not, but the FAMILIES and BALLAS is coming back because it is a brand like "sprunk", but coming back with a new set. ex hillside or killer hills families. yes because it's a real place in the game but not grove st because it does not exist. Kilo tray ballas NO because its not a existing place in gta v los santos but the bay city ballas can. does everyone get it?

Like I said, I'll be FORCED to play through Franklin's story anyway, personally, I still don't know all of the clothing combinations in GTA IV, so if one of your highlights that I'll be missing out on is choosing how low I want my gangsta pants to be, then I doubt I'll really care.

Its not like I hated the idea of the families and Ballas return. But I just preferred new gangs. But who cares. There are gangs!!!!! And from Franks trailer they WILL play an important role. Thats all that matters.

When you say "new gangs" are you talking about new sets or new gangs?

 

LS is based on LA so therefore Ballas/Families are based on Crip/Blood

 

It wouldn't be new gangs kuz LA has had those two gangs and the Mexican/El Salvadorian

gangs for decades. R* doesn't create a brand new game with GTA, they base it off

of something that already exist and add there own world to it.

I get what you mean. I meant I rather different name than ballas or families and different gang colors. But it doesn't really bother me. Also people have said they may most likely have new names for the ballas and families set like the Hillside families.

I don't understand why they are returning. GTA IV didn't have any gangs from GTA III and it's just weird if no iconic 3D era characters from the gang are returning...
