Pantera2198 Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 In Franklins trailer just after his boy says "haha Gangster sh*t" Franklin pulls up his 12g in a dark room,and blast a guy,but his shotgun has a Flashlight attachment. I'm very excited for gun customization,with silencers,and the possibilty to avoid detection if need be. The dog also made another apearance,and a NPC was holding it...im quite sure if a NPC can, so can we. The lighting in this game is absolutley spectacular. It's clear that it will happen... early trailer showed them jump from a van holding AK's with silencers,he pulls a 12g with a flashlight there is no question in my mind at this point. There were lots of features that were mentioned in previews of GTA IV in ways that made fans pretty sure were going to be in the game, but ended up being slashed from the final game. I agree that with the flashlight on the shotty being shown it's very likely that gun customization will be in, but it could also be a weapon with that feature in itself, like in previous GTAs we've had silenced weapons, but with no customization at all. It's not at all clear. There are tons of games out there where you can find weapons with attatchments on them already. Attatchments does not mean customization. I also think it is pretty rediculous to assume I have to go buy another weapon of the same just to have,or have not a attachment. I don't beleive weapon customization as a full on detailed part of the game But I am pretty certain at this point you can buy an attachment for one. anything saying otherwise is pretty dull. Sorry. Theo topic had nothing to do with my knowledge on guns,and therefore you are another person with nothing to improve or help my thread instead littering it with nothing important. I own a Mossberg 500 12g shotgun and it came with a pistol grip and buttstock I also own a 9mm Smith & Wesson Sigma "SW9VE" hand gun which got sued by glock for similarities in it's mechanics. I own guns...I am no EXPERT,and I DO know the PROPER name for "Silencer" Is "Suppressor" However it has nothing to do with anything I stated,and therfore you are a TROLL . NO The trailers IN GTA IV DID NOT show fingerless gloves...IT was a ART WORK that showed fongerless gloves, also FINGERLESS GLOVES is a HIGHLY minor thing than MULTIPLE trailers SHOWING IN PLAIN DAY wepaons with attachements. It is PURE argument, for the sake of arguing to say that I have to go find a gun with a CERTAIN attachment before I can use it. YES! you may have to go to AMMUNATION to buy a specific weapon with an attachment already attached,but that is irrelevant,and stupid. I will hope to find this thread after release with the pic OF MY BALLS. Sorry to be immature,but some of you are pretty lame. The number of screenshots and amount of footage shown where a main point of the action was the gunplay, makes it appear that R* are purposefully telling us "You can put this on your gun". The number of screens/artworks that feature custom sights, scopes, lasr sights, flashlights, and suppressors is, I can imagine, about half of the total screenshots released. Sure, features I stated above were removed after being shown, but they weren't showcased in as much detail as weapon attachments. And as stated many in posts here, there is simply no way that R* would sell 3 versions of each weapon at an Ammunation, in such a polished, overprepared game. Nor would it make sense to have a shotgun available to buy with a flashlight, but not without. Wouldn't it make so much more sense to go to an Ammunation, see a showcase of shotguns, a showcase of rifles, and a showcase of pistols, then on the wall, a glass showcase of optics, suppressors, bayonets and flashlights? We know Rockstar know how to make a game right, so there is no logical thinking that can suggest they will leave a feature such as this out, after all of the coverage it has recieved. There was no 30 page topic in GTAF in late 2007 discussing the details and possibilities of fingerless gloves.
