This has been discussed all day, and it surprised me that there were so many people that were still unaware of Franklin's presence in that scene. I think that there is a decent amount of time between the balcony scene and the door scene, but Rockstar edited it. They (and every single company) do that all the time to trailers, to get a general flow within 1 minute. Storytelling, really. This could actually be a very different scene, but it is probably Franklin chasing after the wife-banger. Michael might already be in a car, or is still upstairs. Also, someone pointed out that the guy is the same guy that is thrown on the ground in the briefcase scene, so this might be a recurring character.
