If it wasn't for the universes law I would say in the last 21 years Grove Street had a massive growth to become Los Santos Families. For all the talk about it NOT being in the game, it is CLEARLY written on that wall! This is the first indisputable evidence that there IS a Grove Street. I'm sure people are going to start regurgitating the same old "different universe" crap, but that wouldn't explain why "Grove st." would appear on this trailer. First time I watched Franklins trailer ... I kept thinking he sounded EXACTLY like CJ. "Yaah, I sound like somebody trying to make some paper and not gettin killed" So CJ.. Personally I have no need for III-era characters, but .. that just sounds so CJ. I know for a FACT that it's not him, since it's Franklin, but for some reason my brain keeps twisting the facts. Too many people on here act like they work for Rockstar or something. ANYTHING we haven't seen in the trailers is still fair game and this point. We won't now until it's confirmed. Grove Street making a return in the game is a great example. Obviously nobody from SA will return because it's been confirmed, the gang, however, could very well be in the game. And if it's a more acurate version of Los Angeles, then Compton would still be there, and could still be called Ganton. I know it's a new era, but surely the street names could stay the same. If there is Grove street, there will almost certainly be GSF. Not a Johnson Brothers run GSF, and maybe not as influencial or big. I'm puzzled that people here do not accept the Rockstar canon. In Los Santos there are the Ballas and "the Families" which Grove St. are part of. Now, we have this new GTA that takes place in Los Santos. Why the fawk not there be Ballas and Grove Street? "Because of 3D universe and HD universe!!!!#"!"#½#!" No There are things that are not dependant of universes or time. Like Lazlow, Epsilon Program and "Ballas vs. Grove Street Families". ***** EDIT ***** And there is the screenshot, right above me... Actually there's another thread on the go right now where somebody has seen a lot of green killing purple in franklins trailer. If grove street are being redone, there will be no indication towards San Andreas characters as they are like mythical creatures in the hd universe. I agree with the thought that the places will be named similar or the same so why not call it grove street. Who knows? And yeah I agree with that if they're keeping the epsilon program in the hd era, then why can't they keep the name grove. Personally, i think they will be represented by green but maybe with a new crew name, or not even have one. But it's a nice touch and reminder towards San Andreas to have the colours brought back. It's really small at the bottom of he wall which tells me grove street are more of an Easter egg as if they were a big time gang in the game, that tag would be a lot bigger and probably the main focus of the wall. And in the trailer all you can see is "Grove" so it's PROBABLY just a reference, like a little easter egg or something because we all know rockstar north loves to do that sh*t. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if they modeled CJ and his hood friends to be like the Grove St gang from SA, just taking place in 2013 instead of the early 1990s. They might be under a different name than Grove St Families but it's very possible they are Groves.
