grandthefthoughto Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 ok I had some laugh at those posts but yeah I think GTA V even on consoles should look better than IV/EFLC PC but it doesnt which is a shame, we just have to wait 1 year or so to play the game with proper graphics on PC... and enjoy spending at least 5 times what i paid for my console to get to your gtav graphical nirvana... not going to defend him or anything as this thread was a terrible idea but i feel like saying this a console costs about 300$ as far as i know a pc capable of playing new games on good settings cost about 600$ to build so double the cost it all depends on how much you want one but i think it's worth it not where i am, ps3 £130 decent gaming rig running fully modded iv £600-£700ish... I should have saved it somewhere, for when I decide to upgrade my computer. Personally I couldn't give two sh*ts about the graphics, it never was the franchise's strongest part. The gameplay in gta is above everything in my opinion. Distrom Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 So you are complaining that the game graphics looks poor? really?, It's impressive that R* is doing this with 256 MB of RAM, They look fine, very well polished, the animations, draw distance, lighting, everything looks better, biggest map, most ammount of vehicles and weapons and the game looks like it´s running on a pretty decent framerate, and you complain about graphics? Well it wasn't the most playable experience but I was too excited that I finally had a chance to play one of the new 3d gta games so it didn't bother me that much. We are 4 and a half months away from release, and especially when these trailers were most likely started to be created back in January, the finished game will be 10x better looking. Rockstar must be wizards. I'm not a PC elitist, I've only ever played on a Playstation so I'm not bashing them. I won't be comparing the PS3 version to the 360 and I won't be comparing the consoles to PC. I play on PS3 so as long as it looks good on that I don't care if PC looks better. I still wonder why many pc elitists keep hating on the consoles. The value we get for the consoles $$ is way better. Find any computer from 2005 with 512 ram being able to play any recent games? No?...try again? No?... That's what I thought. Gta V is looking great and I even if graphics were like iv's I wouldn't mind that much. When V trailer came out people were saying it looked so good it had to be the pc version... I have a question for pc players, If these graphics seen so far were the best you could get on pc with 30 frames per second, How would you feel? still play it? hate it? Im interested in hearing your answers Also this is a fail thread since there hasn't been any pc gameplay yet so obviously it's gonna look better.
