Los Santos Kid Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 So many people don't like the idea of a Zombies DLC for GTAV. So I've been thinking of alternatives. Maybe they could do an Alien invasion of Los Santos and Blaine County and there are a few Human strong holds remaining mostly in the desert and a few in the city. It would be a good idea for the Aliens to emerge from the water surrounding Los Santos, a bit like Battle LA and they create a impregnable shield around the map like in Battleship. Let me tell you something funny that is going to prove that your idea is a bit sad. Saints Row IV is just SR3 recompiled with a DLC as a storyline. SR4 was originally a DLC called Enter the Dominatrix for SR3, but they turned it into it's own "game". GTA is not a game for supernatural entities or scifi over orverlords. I couldn't see Michael fighting aliens at his age. Or Franklin fighting zombies. Trevor? He wouldn't be much of a challenge, at least. Hence, the idea has already been taken, and if it was a DLC, it would actually make the series look worse. All in all, get supernatural/scifi crap OUT of GTA. That's why it's DLC, if you don't like the idea don't buy it, I found Undead Nightmare to be great (from the videos I saw of it), plus it would most likely be an alternate timeline like Undead Nightmare was, so there would still be the normal game where this crazy sh*t never happened and this DLC would just be a "what if". Why get all mad when it's a separate DLC, it won't change the original game. I thought it would be a good idea instead of just doing what they did with GTA IV and just change the characters to nightclub owner and bikers. With a possible Alien DLC more weapons and vehicles could be unlocked and used in multiplayer and also things like under water Alien bases to explore. You have to get to the aliens before the FIB find them and take them away. Doesn't even have to be stupid little stereotypical aliens who are grey, have big heads/eyes and skinny little body who fly in flying saucers. They could look just like humans so you can't tell who is a friend or enemy. You will always be at risk and you don't know who to trust. With zombies you can easily tell because they are dead and sh*t. Plus, aliens will be very intelligent and far more advanced than the human race if they can travel across the whole of the universe. With zombies you'd be safe if you locked the doors/boarded up the windows/turn out lights and a gun shot to the head would destroy them. How would you even begin to protect yourself against an alien?
