Where is the hype?

I remember the huge hype before the first trailer.

The awesome trailer made 30 mln views in one year on youtube.

Trailer 2 was hyped too because it came after one year of nothing, but what about the next trailers?

I don't see the same excitement in other communities, sites and even in its forum.

 

Personally i'm more excited about today epsilon stuff.

 

And don't forget that if the game wasn't delayed we would be playing it now.

Second trailer. We were almost 1 year without little information, when I saw that my hype went up

1st trailer for me. It was probably the only time I have ever been so much hyped for a trailer. The wait had been too long and I was dying to look how V would look like.. where it will take place etc. etc.

 

Trailer 2 was expected even if it R* took almost a whole year to announce trailer 2, we all knew it was coming at some point.

No sh*t. The announcement of the first trailer was also the announcement of GTA V at the same time. Obviously there was more hype than about the trailers after all the previews, screenshots and two trailers. And this applies for every game, movie etc. In most cases at least.

 

It's all just logical.

I am very excited about this 3 trailers, but since I saw 2 so far I don't freak out like before.. doesn't mean that we're less hyped if we're not 24/7 on forums

Trailer 2 is the "ZOMG, we didn't get enough in the first trailer! What new crazy things are they going to do!?"

 

Every other trailer is "Ok, we know what it's going to look like and most of the crazy things have already been revealed. Let's see scratch the surface on what the storyline is going to be about and start amassing the weapon/car database!"

Trailer 3 ( the final one ) before the launch trailer, will be out somewhere in August.

However there are still so many things that we didn't see, so if they introduce something very cool in the trailer it can have that "ZOMG" factor

trailer 1 pretty much came out of no where. We had a 1 week warning. With trailer 2 we had over a year to look forward to it.

I'm looking forward to the 3 trailers tomorrow but it's not a proper trailer. It will be just 3 short trailers focusing on each character.

Trailer one. Since we didn't have a clue about what we were going to see. I would have said the second trailer, but funnily enough I didn't even know it was out until I seen people talking about it all over twitter.

There isn't hype for specific events, there's hype for the game itself. We haven't seen decent info really since Trailer 2 and the GI previews, the hype went completely downhill. Going 6 months without good info (screens and sh*t don't count) the hype is pretty much dead, but when Trailer 3.1 3.2 and 3.3 come out PLUS the previews, the hype will shoot right back up, and probably set a new website visit record (once again) I then think that now R* are done with MP3 after all the previews and screenshots have rolled out, R* will start giving out more info and Kifflom will become more active.

Where is the hype? That's a very good question. There aren't that many people posting on the Newswire--not as many as there should be. There just doesn't seem to be much hype, not even here at the forums. Maybe R*'s brilliant marketing idiocy has driven people away? I know I just want the game so that I can move on. It's been a confusing ride this time around.
