Will the 3 new trailers be like the RDR trailers?

What do you guys think? They showed off RDR with those trailer explaining the game by a narrator. I think this could be a perfect way for them do it for GTA by introducing each character and telling a bit of their backstories.

I can see why people would want the videos to be like that, but personally i hope it will be like the GTA IV character trailers. Which consisted mostly of cutscenes and stuff. Keep the gameplay scenes for....when the game has been released.

Those are gameplay trailers I think. I expect them to be more like this:

I think that worked well for RDR as it had the western theme, but narration doesn't really go with a modern crime game.

 

Maybe each trailer could be a sort of monologue where the character talks about himself, but that would be similar to the first V trailer (Michaels speech).

 

I think they will stick to the same style as the IV character trailers. Just a short, 30-60 sec clip of the character made up of cutscenes.

Nope. Rockstar don't show gameplay like that for GTA.

R* had a good reason to do that for RDR, since it was a little known title. Those videos were helpful in selling the game.

By now everyone has heard about GTA, so it wouldnt apply.

What you're thinking of is 'Gameplay Series Videos' & the general consensus is, we won't see them for GTA V.
