They're completely different types of open world game. The going consensus from within the games industry is that Watch Dogs is actually a fairly linear experience wrapped around some clever mechanics aimed at hiding the fact it is. Also, the fact that they're so easily porting it to the Wii U makes me think its by no means as huge in scope as some people clearly think it is. That's what I don't understand, so if any marketing expert could add to this Maybe they're not in direct competition and just want to give their fans another taste of the game. Cool concept, environment and people that react to you. It looks pretty good. Yes, I'm still going to get V, but watch dogs looks awesome. He's asking why Ubi are releasing stuff on the same day as R* release THREE trailers for V? It's not some coincidence, so what is the thinking behind this strategy? Acting like GTA is the only open-world game out there with potential, nothing can beat it. Guess what, one day, it will step down, whether you like it or not. GTA won't rule the top of the mountain for the rest of the life. Games will come out, and will be better than GTA, whether it is in 5 years or 20 years. Watch Dogs has been in development for 4 years now. I am sure that Ubisoft won't f*ck this up. Just because it's an open-world game it doesn't mean it's a GTA copycat. f*ck off. This forum is full of fanboys, God, I even started to hate GTA due to fanboys, seriously. I was so hyped at the beginning for GTA V, but when I saw the mentality of the GTA Fanbase my hype slowly faded away, won't even come back I think. And yes, I will purchase BOTH GAMES. It's the mentality of a 10 year old that pisses me off, regardless of your age, your mentality is on a different age. Stop being so f*cking pathetic and get over it, Watch Dogs is a game with potential, I am not calling it a GTA Killer, but automatically hating a game because it's an open-world with potential to compete with GTA is stupid. Some people may take it a bit far, but do you really expect people to not be biased in some way? Go on a COD forum and they'll be biased towards COD, a Halo forum will be the same story, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield etc. I'm sure you get the picture. It's actually disturbing with the amount of trolls who have bashed GTA V and R* over the months seem to get more of a free kick than the passionate GTA fans who just want to talk about GTA V. People like Little William are the reason some GTA fans get sick and tired of cock knockers coming on here and trying to drag the game through the mud.
