Releasing whatever they'll release on the same day as 3 new GTA V trailers? They actually think they can compete with GTA V? One question, did you like the cellphone in GTA IV? If no, Watch Dogs will be no fun for you! Because basically the whole game is based on pushing a button on a virtual cellphone, and waiting for info to appear. It ''looks'' like a great game. If you didn't have any input into the creation of either game, it's incredibly lame to see you take sides of video game companies. I feel as though I know what to expect with gta ( I've been playing it since gta 1) whereas I feel watch dogs could bring something completely new to my currently bland gaming life. We've seen some nice gameplay, but the game could suck major ass. But hey.. who knows its probably a decent game, but people love to bring up the two games competing against one another with one being better than the other with very little supporting reasoning behind their opinions. LotusRIP Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 I hate Ubisoft. I hated all Assassins Creeds, despite buying the first 2, I never understood the hype that surrounded the game. It was pretty cool climbing buildings and rooftops for a few minutes until you realise the computer does everything for you and you're just pushing the analog stick basically.... And that's the entire game! Repeats over and over, then you relocate and do the same thing in an identical new area. I also hated that futuristic high tech edge they tried to give the game. Watch Dogs looks like the same kind of futuristic crap, that whole Matrix copycat storyline with a few high tech gadgets. How can a game that nobody knew about a year ago compete with a game series that has been around for over 15 years? I'm gonna laugh if this game comes out and it ends up being a load of sh*t. GTA killer? Hahaahhahahahaha. Oh and might I add, if this game is successful then I hope you enjoy the yearly releases! We'll see watch dogs 6 by the time the next GTA game is out. It would just be nice if everyone put their birth date in their profile. I'd be a lot more forgiving of some peoples posts, if they were under the age of 18. Then again, even I act like a child on here sometimes. What I don't understand, are people who say they aren't going to buy V, yet still come here to bad mouth it. I don't go on other games fansites & slag off their favourite franchise. Just for the record, I think WD looks very interesting. Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Of course Ubisoft want to release some promotional footage, its a game they are working on and they are some competition to Rockstar, but please, children; Neither game has released yet, we know VERY LITTLE about both games, so stop saying one is better than the other. Watch Dogs (yes, I am not putting the stupid little underscore) will not be a GTA Killer, the fanbase of GTA is huge, Watch Dogs just have potential fans. Also, it takes years of refinement to get a good open-world game, I am pretty sure Watch Dogs will be full of its own problems, yes it may seem cool to disrupt the local area around you, but I can guarantee this will be the next LA Noire, in the sense that people **think** it will be like GTA, when in reality it won't be. To those who keep calling Rockstar Cockstar, or say GTA V is going to be sh*t... stop wasting your time on this forum and f*ck off, I am sick of seeing negativity on the forum focused around GTA and Rockstar.
