Hopefully Ghosts plays like MW3 All of the developers under Activision ie: Neversoft, Raven, IW/Treyarch (Depends on which year it is), the reformed Radical Entertainment all work on Maps for the multiplayer both on disc and upcoming DLC. You're a Billion dollar company and won't let one of your COD devs have more time to work so they can make a NEW ENGINE for next gen? Pathetic. It doesn't even look as good as BF3 on consoles. It's just MW3 with some gloss thrown on it and enhanced lighting. Some of the Textures look like CRAP. I actually enjoy playing Call of Duty games. But IDC what bs they tell us. Ohh it's heavily modified blah blah blah. This is a NEW GEN of consoles and you still are using a heavily modified old engine? Learn from DICE Activision. Please. As long as the drop shot remains do-able I'll be happy. But if they keep the same engine, modify it by removing the drop shot, I'll be pissed. Yes, that is an upgraded one but it is only for this gen. Next gen has new engine. Possibly the next Call of Duty game will have a new engine either next year or the year after.....Hopefully... I'm 99.999% sure that the current and next gen versions are using the same engine this year unfortunately unless there is evidence elsewhere. The jungles look similar on FC3 on 360. And that's an open world game. I mean come on. I always enjoy CoD...but I'm just blown away by them saying new engine and it ending up being modified again. I don't care how much it's modified. It's not new. They say you don't want to just throw everything away and build from the ground up? Seriously? Yes, yes you f*cking do. Durden Posted May 27, 2013 Share Posted May 27, 2013 When I buy this CoD (I find it sad that I know I'll buy it [but its a simple pleasure that I sometimes enjoy]), it will be for the PS4, and it will be used for a cheap price. I will not buy this game for full price... It just looks terrible. Then again, E3 always has that magic that can sway the opinion of many gamers. We'll see come 2 weeks. I'm tired of bullsh*t lies and coverups. It's funny though because you've said the exact same thing for the last two years, I'm not trying to bag you out, but you will definitely buy this game haha. You're exactly trying to buy me out. No I am not, I am telling you that you are going to buy the game even though you say you won't. Why the hate? It looks great. New engine, new gameplay,... You got what you always wanted so why do you people still hate? Because it's not a new engine, it's bullsh*t. It looks the same as it always have, it has small improvements, not huge ones like they say. The graphics also look very bad for next generation, they should be able to do much much better. The guy in the video says "You can't rebuild an engine from scratch." Well yeah, that's a little bit true in some regards, but you could at least make a f*cking effort to make it much much better. Look at Rage/Euphoria engine versus the Renderware San Andreas had. Big difference. This hardly looks any different. Like I said, I don't mind if the gameplay is the same/very similar, that's what I like about COD, you can start playing the next one and it's simple to get going. But At least some advancements in technology would be nice, rather than the same damn physics and sh*t in every game. Even playing offline the game is glitchy, Black Ops 1 I have tested this multiple times Offline to prove lag isn't an issue, what I do is get a single shot weapon, and shoot one bullet at a time slowly and see how many it takes for someone to die. Then I do the same thing but mashing the trigger. With an M14 is takes 3-5 bullets if I button mash. If I slowly fire, it only takes two shots. Wtf is this bullsh*t? Really? The game can't count bullets? Even offline? And the same problem is there on MW3 and Black Ops 2, not fixed. Stupid things like that are what piss me off.
