San Andreas was the first release I have ever hyped over, first game forum I ever stalked, first game I've stood in line for. As I grow older brithdays and x-mas are no more than any other day.. To be honest, nothing in my world will ever beat that all consuming moment. It's even more funny because once I go, the world will keep on moving and I will not matter then just like now. I anticipated GTA IV a lot more, but since that turned out to be such a disappointment to me (for reasons see my other posts) I am not expecting any thing really from GTA V. I don't think I'll bother buying it new, unless I'm so impressed with clips I check on youtube, but I doubt that. Otherwise I'll just pick it up second hand when its old news and the price has dropped significantly. More gore detail and less cop harassment (especially helicopters) is top of my list for changes needed. Sorry to hear IV disappointed you that much. Although I'm not sure what you mean about 'gore detail'? The euphoria animation still makes me wince when I take my vehicle onto the sidewalk. Would RDR or Max Payne 3 gore be enough for you? I have read some of your previous posts & you've listed a lot of things you disliked about IV, but gore (or lack thereof) seems a pretty silly reason not to buy a game (no, experience) like GTA V. San Andreas because when R* said it would take place in a state with 3 cities with surrounding countryside I sh*t a chicken. GTAIV because it was the first GTA on the 360/PS3 and the new game engine so I knew it would be special. That's not to say I'm not as hyped for GTAV because I am always excited for a new GTA.
