YouthGamer
For me I've anticipated movies like the dark knight rises and always liked to watch the trailer, but with Gta V I cant seem to stop looking up the details leading up to the release and I go crazy when I know new info will be released, with next week I can tell it will be the best week ever because of the info and trailers were getting. Have been like this since III hit magazines. Shorter wait back then it wasn't that bad. Only come on here since V was announced though, definately made it more of a draining wait. Paper Mario
The thing I get hyped about most is probably the summer vacation. I just love freedom and doing whatever I want!
kesta195
I have never anticipated an entertainment release nearly as much as this. It is in a different league. The other things I get excited about in life, like holidays with my friends, are the kind of things I don't realise how great they are going to be until I'm there. Games/Films are the opposite. I anticipate the sh*t out of them and I am often disappointed (Just Cause 2, inFamous 2) but I can't understand how I could ever be disappointed with V. trevors685
I had to wait 6 months until I had to go to basic training. But that was a "oh f*ck, I'm about to die" type of anticipation. As far as entertainment wise, no. This is the first game I've ever followed and will buy on it's release date. Rockstar made an unbeatable first impression on me with GTA V, so I highly highly highly doubt that I'll follow or get excited over another game for a very long time. OmegaEvolution
Probably the last time i was this excited was waiting for GTAIV to come through the postbox on the day of release.
d3ex2
As much as I love games and GTA it doesn't rule my life. Books rule my life not video games. I have a normal life but yes I do obsess over GTA but I enjoy it so what is the problem?
Doland J. Trump
Yes of course. Seeing Bruce Springsteen live for the first time last March (Also meeting him, getting my shirt autographed and getting his guitar pick) V is certainly up there but there are much more things to look forward to. PutAQuarterIn
As far as forms of entertainment, this is the most obsessed I've gotten about something like that. I've been a fan since III, looked forward to each GTA since then, but not like this. With past GTAs, I didn't get my hype up before TV commercials were released. I don't know if it's because GTA is the one thing that I enjoyed 10+ years ago that I still enjoy, or if it's because I'm a stay at home mom now and need something entertaining to keep me sane through the boredom. BullworthAcademy
Obviously, it's just a video game lol. I'm more obsessed over books, I have a reading age which is 3 years higher than my normal age.

TheQuestfor100Percent
Although I am very excited for V, there are many, many, other things in life that I have anticipated more. Right now, I am anticipating coming home from Afghanistan more than anything.
Patrizio
I anticipated SA and IV more than V. Unfortunately age, maturity and Rockstar's ballsed up marketing campaign have cut a few large holes in my hype for GTA V. This week could change things, of course... richard1997jones
I'm excited no offense to anyone here but, you would have to be incredibly sad to never have anticipated anything more than a video game even GTA V. Let's just say the hype is the exciting part

Grand Theft Savage
Not really. The only thing I've anticipated more was the day me and my friends were about beat the living hell out of these two guys and loot them for their stuff. We had it planned out and everything, and just thinking the plan over made me excited. Other than that, I have anticipated GTA V more than anything. I signed up to this forum just to follow news and speculations on this game. Words can't even express how excited I am for this sh*t. This is the only game that I will buy 2 copies of a launch date for Xbox 360 & PS3.

nigelhere9901
That's a rhetorical and an asinine question. What the f*ck is wrong you? I bet you're still dwelling your basement at the age of 30 or above.

Durden
Video games are my primary hobby. GTAV has changed my perspective on video games as a whole. I have spent well over 300 hours reading from GTAForums. I've had about 6 dreams about the game so far. I have never, and most likely will never (until GTA VI ), anticipate anything else more than I am anticipating GTAV. And I'm happy to say that!
