In rdr john marston refused the hookers in the saloons, saying he is a married man... do u think micheal will give the same refusal if u try to pick up a hooker with him? Michael is supposedly on bad terms with his wife at the start of GTA V. One of the previews talked about how they basically can't stand each other and that she's determined to spend all of his money. Their relationship is described along the lines of "having to stay together" or something like that. It may have something to do with the Witness Protection set-up or to keep appearances up. I think we'll see towards the end of the game Michael and his wife's reconciliation though--I don't mean they will repair their relationship, but that something will change between them for the better (or worse, if multiple endings feature again). Yeah I think Michael getting back into the life will repair the relationship, as he is earning again and it will probably turn her on or something.
