Redneck Shotgun
How does Grove street make money when they are anti crack?
GTASAddict
It was never directly stated, but my guess is gun running, sex trafficking, loan sharking, robbery, contract killing, etc. Edited April 28, 2013 by GTASAddict
Satourn
According to Grand Theft Wiki and GTA Wikia, they make money from: - Arms dealing - PCP business - Arms-trafficking - Robbery - Burglary/Theft
lil weasel
The only known actual fact is that every neighbourhood (Gang Zone) that CJ takes over pays CJ a give. Beyond that you can make up anything you (or some else) wants. CJ does admit to the use of Mary-Jane, as mentioned in "Are you going to ...". So he doesn't say 'no' to all drugs. lil weasel
I thought he only accidentally sniffed them, causing CJ to be high? During the cut-scene CJ says words to the effect of put that out I don't drive when I get high.
GTASAddict
During the cut-scene CJ says words to the effect of put that out I don't drive when I get high. CJ: "Get that smoke out of my face!" The Truth: "Hey, you want a hit on this? A little Temple Charas in a cocktail with some Nepalese munga munga." CJ: "Put that thing out, man; I can't see." The Truth: "Hey, mellow out, brother; it's good sh*t." CJ: "Put it out, Motherf*ckker; I'm warning you!" The Truth: "Woah, chill the f*ckk out! Firstly, you are a real buzz killer, amigo. And secondly, I never made love to my mother; she wouldn't. And thirdly, we're in this together, so be cool." CJ: "Sorry, man; I just don't drive when I'm faded." The term "faded" is synonymous with being intoxicated on alcoholic beverages, not being under the influence of Maryjane, so the "smoke", etc references are plot holes. DarrinPA
I'd probably guess they were also rackteering.
BlackGuard
I always assumed that they burgled and pimped since CJ did that in the San Andreas exclusive side missions. I guess they also could have had protection rackets, loan operations and the like.
