CVG to give us DETAILS of the full game!

CVG have just announced that they are the only one's to have actually played the full game of Grand Theft Auto V. On MAY 2nd, 2013, they will preview the game and give us details of what the game brings and what's inside! Perhaps some map details aswell!

Stay tuned, because now we have 3 trailers and some details from a company who have actually played the game itself!

(This is what they have been previewing for weeks!)

I really hope they are honest about how well the game runs.

I can handle the truth. turn.gif

They never said they played it... they said "we've seen it".

Keyword, seen. As close as they got to the game: monocle.gif

It's close enough to have played it, well they have been next to a screen, to someone who has played it, thats quite close.

Put it this way, they have seen the map, they have seen the engine etc... That's plenty.

To the other guy, it's not bullsh*t.

What do you mean by "full game"? I seriously don't want to run into anything concerning the storyline anymore. I want to play through it myself.

Uh... Game Informer saw the game too, last year... so it will be a very similar coverage (some details of 1 mission, their observations of how the game looked, and some features they picked up on)

And no it's not the full game. R* only show portions of the game that they want to show them, just a presentation. They don't just run around the whole map and show off everything you know? I do hope they paid more attention to the map layout than GI did. But they wouldn't have seen everything.

CVG have seen the game in full, i don't mean it as in they have played all the missions or seen someone play all the missions, but they have seen the game engine, the map, the vehicles, weapons, gun physics etc..

I have my own youtube channel, GGamingNews, and we do the same thing, reviewing, previewing etc.. and trust me, they are telling the truth!

I will most likely be reviewing all the details they give out aswell as the 3 trailers.

Omg you idiot... this is not the first time. Game Informer saw the game engine, map, vehicles, weapons etc... did you even read the article? It's about 6 months old now.

I strongly believe they have seen more than Gameinformer. Alot more.

They have been hyping this up as huge news and a huge reveal. But, even if it small portions, they will most likely give us game engine details, and other good stuff like that rather than one mission or something not interesting at all.

We all want to know how the game feels, looks and how the map size feels.

Your going to call me an idiot? why do i even bother coming on these forums and giving my own opinion? all im going to get is hate from people like you who don't belong here.

I know CVG very well, and i know what they will do. Again, Gameinformer's preview was 6 months old, they will have new previews and reviews.

People like you don't belong in this forum..

Whether you want to complain or not, Rockstar are now showing off a new demo, I can even let you guys know that they're doing the demo for fansite admins to, we got a guy heading to New York soon to check that out, followed by ANOTHER batch of screenshots AFTER May 2nd which will be dished out between fansites leading up to the release of Trailer #3.

You're welcome.

Ofcourse they're hyping it up. It's GTA. But what they've seen of the game would have only been a very well prepared video presentation. They didn't see the game start to finish, it would just be snippets here and there. Game Informer got to see the game running in the same way... they too tried to tell us about their observations. This is not an exclusive but it's obviously very exciting still to get 2nd opinions and hear about whatever different things they were shown.

GI tried to explain how they saw Michael getting a bicycle from the garage and riding his bicycle down the street, lots of people carrying about their daily business, sunny and suburban, sprinklers going (and I think 'dogs behind fences' etc). They said it all looked and felt very smooth or something along those lines

Yeah sure smile.gif As I said in the other thread, I can't get to it (I'm in the UK, event is at R* NYC) so I'll be getting a GTA V Promo Pack instead (no clue on when I'll get that) but we have people from our site who will be attending the evnt, so expect write ups, new screenshots, etc, to show up on many fan sites over the next couple of weeks. There's been some other stuff that we were given a heads up on (since around the time of the Epsilon revival) and so far everything seems to be going to plan, so yeah.

To sum it up, From the start of next week and following off into May, Rockstar are now going into full promo mode for the game. smile.gif

Any idea when will they be doing trailer 3? July? August?

They haven't seen anything. Seen would imply past tense. They are going to see the game. I'm not sure what exactly they'll be doing, whether it's somewhat like what GI did or whether they'll actually play the game, but they won't get to do it until next week. Those CVG guys love to pick out every detail of the game on a weekly basis. If they've already seen the game, they would've slipped up and said something.

The reason they're hyping it up is to get traffic to their web shows.

Is this demo showing to just fansite admins and publishers? I live close to NY so I could easily get to the showing, but would they actually let me through the doors?

Yeah. Honestly, this is the only thing I really want to hear about the game. Is the frame rate smooth and does it hold up well? If it doesn't, they need to say, but they probably won't if there's an issue. Typically previews of games only talk about the positives.

Haha, yeah, it's just press and trusted admins of fansites I'm afraid, they're not showing it off to anyone. tounge.gif

IGN is doing a preview thursday as well and they tweeted they seen the game this week. Thats 100% believable so R* might have shown the game off to multiple people this week or CVG could be stealing sh*t from IGN

Actually they have seen the game. Most of them have seen it today but cant talk about it due to embargo, which lifts at 2nd of may.

Good to hear. Thanks for the info, Ash.

P.S: By ''we'' you mean GTAGaming, right? You're a Mod there if I remember correctly.

Yes, the info I'm letting you guys know come from the details we got as a part of GTAGaming, so I'm assuming it's the same for other websites to as they've held these fansite previews before.
