BKALLDAY
Wonder what it is about these games that makes R* counter punch. We've seen this with Battlefield and Saints Row. Is it a slap in the face to these developers or does R* just try and stay relevant during these times. Either way I think its funny.

straightandfast
They aren't scared of these games. They just want to steal the thunder. Get people talking about GTA V and then people will be less interested when the other game is revealed. What would be excited about? A game that comes every ~4/5 years or a game that is released every year? How the hell are people still buying these call of duty games?
bluAstrid
I think it's a way for R* to keep GTA V in everyone's mind while these other games are being announced, whilst not giving away too much in terms of spoilers or actual information. TheYeast
They pushed the release date to September because saints 4 comes out in august. They want gta to be the last big game people buy and remember from this generation.
zainzombie
Lol yea it is pretty funny, it could be a coincidence but still it comes off as if R* is challenging every other big game.

Maggot899
What they are doing is a smart form of marketing. Obviously many people want V right? So they barely give us any information at all and put out tiny bits of it so that more people get aware by all the constant attention the game is getting for not releasing a lot of information. So when another big game plans their release for a bunch of information, all Rockstar has to do is release some screenshots or a trailer (In this instance 3 trailers, followed by previews, and MAYBE artwork?) and everyone has already gotten over the other information because of the behemoth that is GTA. Jakee.
Why do people think everything is a hit at another game? I bet Rockstar couldn't give an utter sh*t about Call of Duty, and why? Because it is a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER, a forgettable one, where yearly iterations are practically the same. They aren't EA, they aren't going after CoD sales, because they know GTA V will sell anyway. Stop this nonsense, its getting annoying, GTA V Previews on 2nd May has probably been planned when they made a plan of action post-delay. . . Homemade Dynamite
It makes sense, as GTA is currently the only game that can rival COD in overall sales.
