pyramid head
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/art...twork-site.html It's not going to happen it's just a prank by weekly world news where it's always April fools day and i quote: However, it is April Fool's Day all-year round at Weekly World News, which is well known for its false reports. Recent stories have included 'Kate Middleton, age 36?' and 'Alien spaceships to attack Earth in 2011'. While that prank is a good one, i've heard of better pranks. The world's most mental April fool's pranks Virgin alien: Drivers on the M25 called 999 on 21 March 1989 when an alien spaceship crash landed in a field. The culprit Richard Branson the japester (is japester even a word) wanted to land his UFO shaped hot air balloon in Hyde Park on April fool's day but hit bad weather and crashed a day early. Internet dusting: In 1997, when the web was just taking off, a spoof email announced that the internet would shut down for spring cleaning on 1st April. According to the release five multilingual web crawling robots would carry out the task and users were to disconnect for 24 hours. Squirrel mating fools: In 1993 a german radio station announced it would be illegal for joggers in Cologne to run faster than six miles per hour as it would disturb squirrels in city parks during their mating season. Sales of specialist watches with built-in speedometers soared. Digital Big Ben: Big Ben is to get rid of it's clock face and replace it with a digital read out of the time, said the BBC on April fool's day 1980. It claimed the clock hands would be sold to the first four people who got in touch. Cue jammed phone lines. Whistling carrots: Tesco placed a series of ads in national newspapers on April fool's day 2002 announcing that whistling carrots were on sale in it's stores. Tiny air holes meant that, should a person not fancy cooking the veg, they could always play it as a musical instrument instead. Left handed burger: Burger King fooled millions of americans in 1998 by launching a huge ad campaign for a left handed whopper. It claimed the ingredients were the same but had been rotated 180 degrees. Thousands fell for it with some people demanding a right handed version. Naked ice monsters: US wildlife magazine Discover revealed in 1995 that a new animal had been discovered in the Antartic: the hot headed naked ice borer. With a huge red hot plate on its head, the creature could burn through ice to hunt penguins.
