initium
Hey there Muse fan's I was thinking, if GTA V had a song from Muse on the radio stations, what song would it be? I think Starlight is a candidate

Big-_-t0ny
Even if I liked Muse I don't think they would fit a GTA game, especially one set in the west coast, I think Rockstar will continue to use music to set the mood and that fits the atmosphere of the location, in this case LA. LotusRIP
New Muse sucks balls, they went downhill after Absolution... Black Holes & Revelations was their last good album. They do a good live show though. They don't fit in a GTA game. But if anything, one of their older songs would be best suited. Plug In Baby? not sure

LotusRIP
Sunburn, the small print or citizen erased probably. Nothing they've done recently has impressed me really. Just as I mentioned above ^. They went all watered down and commercialised after Absolution/Black Holes.... kind of how Coldplay did recently with Mylo Xyloto. At least Radiohead have been good from start to end, although I prefer the meat of their stuff (OK Computer, Kid A) they still have some pretty solid works coming out and loving Thom's solo ventures just as much. Agreed about coldplay...pretty much everything you said. Personally OK computer was probs my favorite Radiohead album, but I love how they constantly reinvent themselves. Hail to the thief especially. I would love a radio station with that kinda stuff on it in V, it something rockstar have never really gone for but would work really well in a GTA game. ainsz
I'd love for at least one song from Muse to be in V. Absolutely love that band. Any out of these for me: Panic Station Hysteria Uprising Hypermusic Citizen Erased Feeling Good (though Nina Simons may fit better) Hoodoo Fury Bliss Assassin Knights of Cydonia Stockholm Syndrome Starlight New Born Sober Starlight Resistance Exo Politics If GTA V has a classical station, I'd love it if it had all 3 parts of the exogenisis Symphony. Yeah guess that's what keeps Radiohead being such an interesting band, or whatever solo stuff they do, they're constantly trying new ideas... their sound has made a nice gradual transition from typical brit-rock stuff to really experimental electronic stuff - like the Atoms for Peace sound. And they made this transition because of their tastes in music - not because they were trying to please a majority which Coldplay & Muse are doing now. Like seriously... Dubstep is a growing rage these days... and what a coincidence with Muse attempting some Dubstep. That isn't a sellout at all

That isn't a sellout at all Exactly it always felt like Radiohead, or Thom Yorke and with the atoms for peace stuff, only make the music they want to make, then selling albums is a bonus. That was the problem with muse and cold play, they sold out big style! And @Big_L91, good for you Also I know this topic is supposed to be muse related but I couldn't resist. I'd love this song to be in the game, would suit driving through the dusty desert areas with Trevor Edited April 26, 2013 by Liberty2k7

reform
Just as I mentioned above ^. They went all watered down and commercialised after Absolution/Black Holes.... kind of how Coldplay did recently with Mylo Xyloto. Mylo Xyloto? Recently? Coldplay havn't been good since A Rush of Blood to the Head. Some would argue they've never been good. But to decide that Mylo Xyloto is the turning point for them is absurd. If there's a point where you can look and say "ok, they've taken a commercial turn", it was X&Y. Aaaanyway... Muse... I don't really want any Muse songs in the game. I like hearing stuff I might not have heard before in GTA games.
Fido_le_muet
Knights of Cydonia would fit well while cruising in the desert or badlands. Unforgettable would be nice at night in the city 8) But I don't think their music fits with the game. Nothing Californian about Muse Off-topic : I'll be attending their big show at Stade de France this june

Agree about Muse, but disagree about Radiohead. The King of Limbs was bland and very lackluster... not one stand-out track. Never cared for Pablo Honey either. The Bends was ok, but overrated. The golden age of Radiohead imho began with Ok Computer and ended with In Rainbows, as each album during this period was solid, progressive, catchy, and commercially viable from beginning to end. OT: Not that Muse is the first band that comes to mind when I think about a new GTA soundtrack, but I guess Knights of Cydonia could work.
LackedMushroom0
Yaaaay MUSE Hmm, I really love Muse, but I don't think muse will fit in the whole GTA universe But maybe Exo-Politics, with the whole Zeta thing. Because Trevor has some kind of conspiracy theorist friend IIRC ??
