The rules have to be adhered to quite strictly and you can't just have exceptions (like filling the request for GTA IV art even though you posted in the GTA V section with nothing related to art whatsoever going on in this section), otherwise it would quickly become chaos. So yeah, it gets a little bit stringent and people will set you right quickly and efficiently, if not nicely. It's just the wrong place, and someone told you where to go, then you blew your top off. Perhaps you took his terse response as 'rude', but I'm sure he meant no insult. So just relax before you get yourself in trouble and take your request to the proper section.
