I got pretty excited learning that scuba diving is possible GTA V, but I really hope it won't be a special mission thing and is something you could do anytime, especially in free roam multiplayer or a specific mode for it. Well, troll and troll catcher extraordinaires over there aside, I can guarantee you on the basis of the title alone that most of the responses you'll get will be "Sounds saints row-y". To which you might reply "So?" And then they'll go "Wacky stuff like that belongs in saints row only", as though SR bought a patent on wacky fun and will sue any other company that uses it. Durden Posted April 26, 2013 Share Posted April 26, 2013 It should definitely be an option when setting up a TDM/FFA. You spawn anywhere in the ocean (everyone within ~300m radius) and you are automatically in scuba gear and are unable to go on land. Your only weapon is a knife and a harpoon gun. I think underwater deathmatches would be pretty cool though. No need to go on the offensive and attack straw men, Racecarclock. I'm not an SR fan and I do think some ideas are too wacky for GTA... However, I still think underwater deathmatches are a fantastic MP mode idea, whether its divers fighting with spear guns or submarine battles. Hopefully there is an SP mission like this as well.
