Fraizer
You know, someone is holding something back... My guess is the The Forum mods Sources, who-ever they may be, saying that take-two are not part of the production of this ad, is a bit vague in my opinion. Saying they are not part of the production is not saying they are not aware of something going on that they may have givin permission for.

hihuve
This is clearly a GTAForums/R* coverup. If this turns out to be an actual Rockstar commercial, would make us look pretty darn silly and less trustworthy in the future, no? Guess we'll just have to wait and see if Rockstar airs a live action commercial then... You also have to ask yourself, why produce a live action commercial (with plants and sh*t in Mexico), when you could just show the actual game? And I know Rockstar produced a live action opening and ad for GTA2 back in 1999, but that was a 2D game. It was pretty normal back then to produce these sort of things for promotional purposes (even though some publishers still produce these [OR even WORSE, CG trailers]). I was joking, but since you mentioned it, it wouldn't make you look silly at all IMO. The goal is to be right every time, but many people/places get stuff wrong from time to time. It's just the nature of the industry. I can't expect you or anybody else to be 100% correct all the time. Also live action trailers are much more popular than they were back when GTA IV released. I would definitely say they're making a comeback. These are just the ones that come to mind... DODI3OG
Mexico confirmed? Yes ! IT may just be like the GTA SA introduction, so don't put your entire wallet on that one! It may provide the background as to why Michael was in the WitPro.
xaml
I'm very skeptical of this. Aside from the V poster on the wall, nothing indicates that it has anything to do with GTA V. Plus, Rockstar has never done a real life commercial before. All their commercial's have just been gameplay footage. That's not correct, there was a live-action short-movie for GTA 2. inflamedeyeball
Hi guys, I've edited the OP, I didn't realise the thread was reopened and I really don't have that much time at the moment. Magic_Al
Live-action game trailers suck.* Live-action is a crutch for advertising a game that isn't well-designed enough to sell itself. When I see a live-action trailer for a game it's a strike against the game in my eyes. It's a con. It's saying it doesn't look like this, but you'll imagine this while you're playing it, or something. Rockstar will never make a live-action trailer again. They'd consider it a failure to live up to their standards. *One exception: William Shatner vs. the Gorn for Star Trek: The Game. That's awesome. (And the live action isn't trying to represent the game world but is just a fun moment for Star Trek fans.) Like that one Volition produced to promote Saints Row 3. remember this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...d&v=mdWkKKSckNk folllowed by this That's what I thought. Something along those lines from Sony. A live action sequence representing GTAV in a commercial is about as likely to air on the TV (or any other medium) as Honey Boo Boo being the first person on Mars, though. It simply won't happen. Death2Drugs
I honestly wonder why Sony or whatever was using the V logo. I hate conspiracies, and this probably isn't likely, but does anyone think this might be some sort of guerrilla advertising?
