Cosmic Gypsy
So i just got the Nokia Lumia 620, Windows 8 phone, can anyone recommend any decent games? What are the mobile versions of games like Assassins Creed and other console games like? Will GTA3 work on this phone like it does with Android phones? Are there any GTA games available for this phone? Also, will the VBA Gameboy emulator run on this phone like it does on Android? I'm jealous of my mate who has pokemon fire red on his Android, it's even patched so every pokemon in the pokedex appears in the wild, and you don't need to trade certain pokemon to have them evolve, i want that but i'm doubtful Windows 8 will be good enough. Any help appreciated.

Cosmic Gypsy
Cheers for the response mate, games weren't the reason i got a smart phone, i got 1 for the internet, games would have just been a bonus, i would have chose android if i bought it myself but the phone was a gift from my mum so cant complain.. i got classic games like pong, snakes, space invaders and pacman, which is cool, shame there's no Gta though, cheers for the links mate. Chukkles
no GTA. if you wanted to play games then getting phone was a bad idea. Fixed. I have an ipad and even I can say tablet and phone gaming is utter sh*t, why wouldn't you spend that money on a gaming console? Or better games for your existing console???? My ipad has a couple games on it that I play, but it's mainly Internet browser.

Sure phone gaming isn't good, but people don't buy phones just for that. They are already going to buy the best phone because it has the least problems and the most features, being able to play games on them is just a plus. You can't take your console and play it on the bus, at school/work lunches or anything like that, your phone you can.

Same with shooters like Modern Combat or Shadowgun. It's no console replacer but it works when you don't feel like playing on them. It isn't perfect but it isn't utter sh*t.
