Mister Pink
Can't believe nobody made a topic and I only found out about his death today. Anyway, I enjoyed watching some Ebert & Siskel to hear their opinions of films that came out at the time, like Batman etc. I always like to have a read of his reviews when I can. He said he'd watch about 500 films per year and review about half of them. Harley
Yeah I liked Ebert, he was my go-to guy if I was unsure about watching something. Didn't always agree with him but he definitely knew what he was talking about and he loved movies of all genres.
unc13bud
yeah, i liked that big joker, although he fell into that same "i don't understand tyler perry and his madea character so his movies are terrible" phobia that so many Caucasian critics do. Just about any middle class African american family has a madea. i think its very strange that both him and gene siskel died from cancer and think both their deaths and successes came from being AFFILIATED with the powers that be.
